Thanks Ethan, way to stick up for your fellow 11th ward politicians. Do you also go to visit Sorich in the joint?...and tell him "to shut up if he knows what's good for his family?"  (May 15, 2009 | post #5)

Immigration agency's airline flies tens of thousands of d...

Personally, I was disappointed to learn that in the face of fuel surcharges, budget cutbacks and an overall decrease in customer satisfaction, ICE Air has canceled their frequent flyer program.  (Feb 9, 2009 | post #23)

These running shoes were made for talking

I also agree with Peter & Dave. I never cared for Blago, but Fitzgerald should have either let the tapes run a little longer & added another 10 or more people, some of them serving the current Mr. President of these United States. The damage is done, our ex-governor will become a scapegoat and in time the voters will forget. In Illinois politics, there are no long-term lessons learned.  (Jan 29, 2009 | post #29)

United to layoff nearly 1,200 after holiday rush

As a former Chicago resident, I am sorry to see United, Chicago's "Hometown Airline," in its current state. As a former stock owner who was once burned by their poor planning, I hope that the free market replaces them with something better. Of course, if their replacement is hubbed out of another city, Daley will once again have broken the backs of yet another industry....then comes his final lease of O'Hare and see what that does to the taxpayers of Chicago in the not so distant future.  (Dec 3, 2008 | post #41)
