You have a point, but in our defense - and I must include myself - Many of us have been on the these and other boards for years now. In the beginning (sorry) I know that each time a new creationist would show up and damn us to hell, I would try and point out their errors in a polite way. Others would as well. We would provide page after page of links to real peer-reviewed science sites. We would explain over and over and over. Only to have the creationist damn us to hell again and raise the same inane points. After a few years of this, it gets a bit frustrating. Now, all to often, it turns into "wack-a-mole ". I've also heard that the Catholic church is also experimenting with a low-carb communion wafer. One added benefit is that it's also cheaper to produce this "body of Christ". On other problem with the whole voucher concept. Who gets the problem kids? As far as I know, you can't force these private schools to take any specific child. What happens when all the public schools in the inner city close? I don't think the stereotypical Catholic school with Nuns packing rulers still exist in numbers high enough to take these kids. What about the kids that are discipline problems? A private school can just say, sorry we won't take these kids. What about kids with learning disabilities? What about kids with other physical/mental issues? Hell, what about the talented & gifted kids? Our public school system paid for both my kids to take math/science classes at a local 4 year liberal arts college because the local school and local community college didn't have any additional classes they could take while juniors and seniors. //<steps off proud parent soapbox now?\\ (Thursday Jul 17 | post #130)

What we see is this - The folks who claim evolution is wrong, false, the spawn of satan, etc., are the ones who don't even have a freaking clue as to what the theory of evolution is.
