Venezuela is Dying

Venezuela is dying but Canada and Switzerland seem to be doing just fine. Picking out one socialist nation and using it as an example to bash socialism as a whole is a lazy and unconvincing argument.  (Apr 12, 2017 | post #3)

Hillary Clinton is going to select Jeb Bush as her VP candidate? Please put down the crack pipe and step slowly away from the monitor......  (Jun 10, 2016 | post #2)

4 teens dead from smoking pot and crashed car

The media reports stories about people doing stupid stuff under the influence every day. Why would they conspire to cover this one case up? Whether or not marijuana is legal everyone knows that driving while under the influence is a dangerous thing to do.  (Jan 4, 2016 | post #3)

Black Babies Don't Matter

Kaptoz, it that you? I guess it doesn't really matter. If a person cares so little about themselves that they will have sex with someone that they are not willing to raise a child with then what do you propose that we do with the unwanted baby? A baby conceived by two crackheads who were solely concerned with getting their rocks off is highly unlikely to be adopted.  (Aug 21, 2015 | post #2)

Can same-sex marriage make America healthier?

There are plenty of same sex partners out there who don't have health insurance because they can only be on their partners plan if they are married. Providing coverage to people who were previously uninsured sounds healthy to me.  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #8)

Woman who pulled son, 6, into Walmart brawl charged

The fight is a misdemeanor charge. After the police gather evidence and write their report, which can take several days, the prosecutor's office decides whether charges are warranted. Since it's a low level crime there is no need to arrest them immediately. There are hundreds of more significant cases that take priority over this petty squabble.  (Jun 29, 2015 | post #5)

Gov Pence mow the highways

The governor has about 1000 things on his to do list that are more important than the grass getting cut on I-70. I'm sure that D.O.T. will get to it sometime soon.  (Jun 25, 2015 | post #2)

Richmond Hill trial: 175 witnesses, 3,000 pieces of evide...

It seems to me that the government could save quite a bit of money by taking Leonard to trial on the conspiracy to commit murder charge first. They don't need 175 witnesses to prove that case. Thirty years to life is effectively a life sentence anyway.  (Jun 8, 2015 | post #2)

Mayor Ballard Honors Nasty Letterman

There is no shortage of comics telling dirty jokes about Democrat politicians. If you're going to hold people accountable for the bad things that their associates have said then the whole world is twisted and evil.  (May 27, 2015 | post #9)

Mayor Ballard Honors Nasty Letterman

Having a kid with a woman that you've been dating for a number of years is not the same thing as being married. We don't even know if his baby's mom would qualify as a common law wife. You can bash Letterman for intentionally raising a child out of wedlock if you want, but a man is not morally or legally obligated to stay faithful to his wife if he is not married.  (May 25, 2015 | post #6)

Mayor Ballard Honors Nasty Letterman

Letterman has had had countless thousands of guests on his show ranging from liberal to.conservative and pacifist to warmonger. If you're bashing him for having Bill Maher on will you give him credit for hosting Bill O'Reilly? And I do not.believe that Letterman is married. He and a son but not a wife. You can't bash him for cheating if he's not taken a vow of celibacy.  (May 22, 2015 | post #4)

Rush Limbaugh dropped from wibc Indianapolis radio

That's absurd. Rush or not, Hillary has about as much of a chance of winning Indiana in 2016 as Ted Cruz would have of winning New York. If she were to pick a prominent Indiana Democrat as her VP she would have a fighting chance, but that's highly unlikely. I mean how many Indiana Democrats could she realistically go with? Evan Bayh? Haven't heard anything from him in 20 years. Andre Carson? Not happening.  (Apr 17, 2015 | post #9)

Rush Limbaugh dropped from wibc Indianapolis radio

Limbaugh boosts his ratings by intentionally saying things that are mean and insensitive. Sandra Fluke is just one of about twenty examples of him doing that over the past 20 years. Cummins dropped the program despite the fact that it is still the highest rated in the nation because they don't want to pay top dollar to sign a long term deal when they suspect he's on the verge of retirement. Don't be too quick to trumpet the demise of The Rush Limbaugh program, the show will almost certainly be picked up by another local station.  (Apr 16, 2015 | post #3)

Mike Pence: average at best; not presidential at all

You don't have to be a good candidate to win an election, just one vote better than your opponent. An underqualified black guy won back to back landslide elections because he is better than McCain, and he is better than Romney. The leadership of the Republican party is responsible for Obama getting elected. The presidential election comes up once every four years. For them to not have a viable candidate is inexcusable.  (Jan 30, 2015 | post #5)

Mike Pence: average at best; not presidential at all

Pence would make a good VP candidate or person to head a cabinet position, but he's not interesting or charismatic enough to draw voters to the polls. The same can be said for Joe Biden, Bob Dole, Evan Bayh, John McCain, and John Kerry. Being a good person is not enough to get elected, one must be likable.  (Jan 30, 2015 | post #3)
