It's arguable that Gingrich did pretty well in this caucus, given that his organization in Nevada was close to zero: he didn't buy TV or radio ads, and he scaled back his campaign events to one per day. There was a lot of media speculation that Paul might win second place because of his well-organized ground campaign, but actually, he's trailing Gingrich by 5%.
