http://www.valotte ry.com/news/press_ article.asp?dismod e=article&arti d=3214#article Winning numbers drawn in Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle January 1, 2012 Three tickets = three Virginia millionaires. That’s the equation for Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle. The numbers have been drawn, so the question now is: Who are the three $1 million winners? The winning numbers were drawn by the Virginia Lottery on New Year’s Day. The $1 million winners are: #188106 (ticket purchased at C-Store, 2653 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft) #243508 (ticket purchased at Food Lion, 1013 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville) #310298 (ticket purchased at 7-Eleven, 9908 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls) Six additional tickets each win $25,000. Those winning tickets are: #042388 (ticket purchased at 7-Eleven, 1928 Battlefield Blvd. N, Chesapeake) #204785 (ticket purchased at Olde Stone Truck Stop, 3425 Martinsburg Pike, Clear Brook) #207221 (ticket purchased at 7-Eleven, 1033 Mercury Blvd., Hampton) #294495 (ticket purchased at On The Run, 3101 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond) #303474 (ticket purchased at Burke Sunoco, 9414 Burke Lake Road, Burke) #327222 (ticket purchased at Martins Food Market, 10150 Brook Road, Glen Allen) Another 300 tickets each win $500. Those numbers are now posted at the Virginia Lottery’s website: www.valottery.com. Players can also call the Virginia Lottery Player Information Line at 804-662-LUCK. The Virginia Lottery generates approximately $1.2 million per day for Virginia’s K-12 public schools. Operating entirely on revenue from the sale of Lottery products, rather than tax dollars, the Virginia Lottery generated more than $444 million for Virginia’s public schools in Fiscal Year 2011. That represents about 8 percent of state funding for public education in Virginia. Follow the Virginia Lottery on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Please play responsibly.  (Jan 3, 2012 | post #1)
