Franken has an office, getting settled in DC
I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. After all, George W. Bush graduated from Yale! (Jul 6, 2009 | post #105)

What a piece of dirt. Good thing the police ended his life so we don't have to pay for him to keep using oxygen rotting away in a prison cell. (Jul 6, 2009 | post #2)

Palin resigning as Alaska governor
Um, he beat your guy. Remember? BTW, it has only been six months. If the economy starts to come around at all (and it will) the GOP (whom most Americans blame for the mess we are in) will be all but dead. It should be interesting..... (Jul 6, 2009 | post #512)

NY congressman blasts Michael Jackson as 'pervert'
Why did he settle out of court in one of his molestation hearings? That may not be proof of guilt, but it's about as close as it gets. The media coverage of this has been blown way out of proportion. Can they put him in the ground already! (Jul 6, 2009 | post #16)
Palin resigning as Alaska governor
I couldn't have said it better. I am shocked that the Republicans actually think she is a good choice to hold the strongest office in the land. It really doesn't say much for the GOP if she is all their is to offer! (Jul 6, 2009 | post #507)

Why is Al Franken going to be a bad choice? Harvard graduate. Hardly an idiot. Is it his work as a satirist that bothers you? And how was he elected by lawyers?!? (Jul 6, 2009 | post #85)

Boy, 14, shot during neighborhood fireworks, upgraded to seriou...
I hate the people around my house that light off fireworks all day and night around the forth, but I would never shoot any of them. I usually opt to go out to a bar or movie, somewhere a lot less noisy. And btw, what is with the love of fire **** and bottle rockets, etc.? It just seems so hillbilly to sit around and watch things go boom. I always laugh at the stories about the people who hurt themselves every year around this time from fireworks. And the cost of these things? The economy must not be too bad around where I live because people had no problem WASTING their money on those stupid things. Leave the fireworks shows for the professionals. That is why they are paid to do it. (Jul 6, 2009 | post #12)

Actually, that started when Michelle Bachman drapped herself all over W a couple of years ago at the State of the Union speech. And she has been doing a remarkable job of outdoing herself each and every time she opens her mouth since then. If you are not already embarassed by her, then my friend you must not even have a conscience. You may not like Al Franken's work in Hollywood, but he is a Harvard graduate so he obviously is no dummy! It will be nice having somebody who cares about the people of Minnesota and not a career politician for a change. (Jul 6, 2009 | post #60)
