Obama promises more than 600,000 stimulus jobs

Oh my word. The fallout from the inept Obama and his puppet masters, Reid and Pelosi is even reaching into the House2010 is looking to be a major turning point more and more every day.  (3 hrs ago | post #33984)

Billy, a pastor can still voice his opinion about what can be considered to be moral issues. He cannot campaign for a candidate as a representative of his religious organization but he can speak out on moral issues.  (5 hrs ago | post #33977)

Obama promises more than 600,000 stimulus jobs

At what point must Obama begin to take responsibility. In other words, how deep into his farce of a presidency can he no longer say George Bush did it?  (6 hrs ago | post #33970)

To put these figures into perspective: 46% of the voters STRONGLY disapprove of his job performance. This is a new high. In the mean time, only 44% of the voters even somewhat approve of his performance. A new number needs to be added to the index and that number would reflect the second part of the poll which shows total approval and disapproval. It would look like this today: -21/-12. There is even a -12 for him when all participants in the poll are included and not just those who strongly approve or disapprove. Six months ago, his combined index was -1/+9 and when he took office it was +28/+35. Oh, how the mighty icon, the savior, the chosen one, the hope and change has fallen. Daily, more and more people are realizing that they were duped and now they consider him to be nothing more than a fraud, a stooge, a Chicago crook, a teleprompter reader, an empty suit. Billy, will you please turn off the lights when you leave since you're on track to be the last one to leave the building?  (6 hrs ago | post #33967)

Jetblue is a Ghetto Airline

Well, of course, referring to number 9, I was speaking to the women on this forum. Guys know better. They just slap each other's butts. By the way, what is up with that. Football players always copping a feel of there team mates butts? Weird... As for Delta's customer service, generally I've had great experiences with them. There have been a couple of times where I haven't but usually it was due to some sort of overload due to canceled flights and stuff and they were just as harried as was I to try to make alternative arrangements. Also they used to outsource their calls to India but they've dumped that service. Even the ticket agents complained about that because they were always having to fix the errors they made in India. Now, Southwest.... There's an airline you can't pay me to fly on. I hate the cattle car method they use. I stand in enough lines in life without having to stand in line to get a seat on a Southwest plane. I mean, really, how hard is it to make seat assignments? And when the crew are all wearing shorts and tee shirts, I just have to wonder about the professionalism.  (7 hrs ago | post #39)

You're up in the air traveling somewhere between 500 and 600 miles per hour inside a tube that is being propelled by a couple of engines full of fire so hot that the engine would melt if they didn't use exotic materials and fancy engineering. Your sitting in a chair snarfing peanuts, drinking a beer and watching a movie. How bad could it really be. There is nothing like having hot chocolate and croissants in Paris is the morning and sitting down to a home cooked meal on the west coast of the U.S. for dinner that evening of the same day. Oh, the indignity of it all. Damn you, Orville and Wilbur!  (7 hrs ago | post #38)

Arizona Teacher on Leave After Taking Students To Hooters

Hooters? Good grief. They wear less at the beach and swimming pool. Besides, usually one look at the majority of the waitresses in a Hooters and you learn very quickly that the name of the restaurant only creates a mental myth.  (8 hrs ago | post #23)

Obama promises more than 600,000 stimulus jobs

Well, think about it. 50 people get to split a $1000 between them so they each get $20. That is an excellent third world wage for a year and isn't that what O'Commie O'bammie wants us to be?  (10 hrs ago | post #33939)

South Bay cyclists seeking fair share of roads, funding

Well, this conversation is almost ridiculous inasmuch as everyone is making some very broad generalizations. There are good drivers and there are bad drivers. There are good and courteous cyclists and then there are the ones who aren't. There are people who prefer to drive cars and there are people who want to get in shape, stay in shape and help in their own way to cut down on emissions. If everyone were just to think a little bit more about the other guy, you wouldn't have these arguments.  (Yesterday | post #176)
