Fort Knox-Area Residents Helping Soldiers

Good luck in your attempt to reach that magical weight. My son lost almost 60 pounds before enlistment and has lost another 20 pounds since. He's looking lean and.............we ll, he's cute anyways. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.  (Dec 21, 2010 | post #4)

Fort Knox-Area Residents Helping Soldiers

Thank you Marie. My son is currently at home, but is going through boot camp at Ft Knox. He is a very proud person and has chosen to be one of the best. His parents are both veterans. His father served in Vietnam and Turkey. His mother served in Turkey and the UK. Being veterans, we are well aware of how important it is for our soldiers/sailors/m arines/airmen/and coastguardsmen/wom en to know they are being supported by their fellow Americans. To everyone, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Regards.  (Dec 19, 2010 | post #2)

Grand jury to hear case of 3 teens charged with murder

Our constitution guarantees a "fair trial" not a perfect trial. If the evidence used to convict the accused was legitimate, then they must pay for their crime.  (Dec 6, 2010 | post #2)

Son of Williamstown resident graduates

My son is currently going through boot camp and is in K Troop, 1-18 AR, 4th Platoon. Since I am living in MN, I want to try to learn more about that area of the country. I know that Kentucky has some really beautiful country. Here's wishing all the young men and women attending boot camp there a successful completion of their training. I am sure I am not the only father who is proud of our sons and/or daughters. My wife and I are proud veterans of the US Air Force(no comments you grunts,:) Wish everyone a wonderful journey through your careers. May the good Lord watch over and bless all of you.  (Nov 27, 2010 | post #1)

Chiggers, bad food, and storming Anzio

Sir: Thank you for your service. You and your com-padres were actually fighting for this country's existence. Had Hitler not been stopped this country may well have ended up being a part of his empire. Unlike the wars today, this country's freedom was in jeopardy and you and your fellow warriors saved this country. Again, Sir, thank you for your service.  (Nov 19, 2010 | post #1)
