Who the Hell said anything about you being lazy because you werent in law enforcement. I think your temper is making you see things that arent there. I was simply stating that before you throw down judgement on all of law enforcement because of what a few bad people did, try walking in their shoes. So, you work in a factory correct? How would you feel if I said that all factory workers were drug using, low life garbage simply because a few factory workers got caught doing drugs or selling drugs on the job? Yes harms way, if you were truly a State Trooper you should know this. Everytime they pull over a car, respond to a domestic situation, alarm call, etc etc; there is always the potential of being seriously hurt or killed. From small town to big city all it takes is coming across the wrong individual on the wrong day. Of course this is true for the common citizen, but the difference is that a law enforcement officer places themselves in these situations intentionally. Bullshit. This is the problem with todays society, its always someone elses fault or there is always some sort of excuse. The whole "I know I did it, but...this is why I'm not to blame" makes me sick. The fact of the matter is, she chose to participate in an illegal activity no matter what the circumstances might have been. Its called a choice, and she made the choice to help transport, and probably would have disposed of, a murdered human being. The actions we, as members of society, involve ourselves in are either right or wrong. There is no grey area. There is no "I know it was wrong but..." People wonder why murderes and child molesters go free sometimes, well this is the reason. Laws are made to either be followed or broken, and if someone breaks them then they deserve what they get. I dont think this is true. I searched public records for Kentucy and I can only find his latest where he was arrested on 12/18/09 for DUI 3rd. I believe you heard wrong or your just trying to start rummors. Either way, I couldnt find anything to support this claim. (Tuesday Dec 29 | post #2)

People are fighting for every position, no matter which profession its in. Plus, law enforcement officer positions arent plentiful to begin with. If you think about it, one large factory can employ as many people 10-20 police departments combined, depending on the size. One does not become a police officer for the money, they do it because they want to serve the community in which they live. I know that the department in the city in which I live in starts their police officers at about $25,000 per year. That averages out to be about $12 per hour, hardly what I would call "high paid". As far as the nice homes and flat screen tv's, hes probably like everyone else in America, knee deep in credit debt. Maybe, just maybe, his wife, girl friend, family, or whatever bring good money into the household. You people are pathetic. You let what one or two bad people do, and what the media sells, decide for you that all cops are bad. When in fact, these bad people make up a very minute percentage of law enforcement officers. If you think that the system is so bad, get off your lazy asses and go become a cop and change things. Go put your sell in harms way everyday to protect the community that criticizes you. Go get cussed at, spit on, disrecspected, threatened, and fought with for that measly salary that they make. Dont criticize or ridicule anyone until you walk a say in their shoes. First, I wasnt thumping my chest, I was mocking all the idiots who say that the police are all corrupt. Obviously that isnt true. Second, as far as him getting away with this offense many times, thats obvious as well. Thousands of people get away with drunk driving every day. The police cant catch them all. Finally, if you have witnessed someone "important " not being arrested when stopped for drunk driving, please share your list with the rest of us. Im sure everyone would like to know which "important " people you have personally witnessed getting out of a DUI charge on the spot.
