When have I done that? If you take anything I've said personal, then you looked way too far into it. I don't really see a point in deleting you, what would that accomplish? It would be childish, like I said, I don't have a problem with you or your views (we may disagree on things, but that is life).  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #14)

Social conservatives remind Romney of pledge against abor...

http://academic.ws c.edu/mathsci/hamm er_m/life.htm Doctors and scientists don't all agree on abortion for good reason. From the moment of conception (when the sperm infuses with the egg), all the requirements of being a living organism are met. Not just any living organism, the very beginning of a human being. So, in my opinion, abortion in any since is taking the life of another. In regards to Romney, coming from his Mormon background, he was raised in the belief that abortion was acceptable under certain circumstances. So yes, he was in a since pro-choice. I can't find the article I found the other day, but he had stated that he didn't believe that the government had a place in making that decision for a woman. He also later on went to say that when it came time for him to sign abortion legislature as Governor, that he personally could not justify enforcing laws that would affect the sanction of life. Whether or not he really is pro-choice or pro-life no one will really know (unless he is voted into the presidential office). I will say that his changing of stand points on this subject will really hurt him when it comes to the polls.  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #34)

Considering our President apologized to them, I unfortunately don't think they will be given any form of justice. It really is sad.  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #2)

Actually, I have only met you once, and I don't hang out on your Facebook page it pops up on my wall. Your opinions don't bother me. Like I said, they are your own and I can respect that. I'm not asking you to apologize for voicing your opinion or judging you. It's just a little bit of friendly debate. Nothing you say I take personally. There is no need to. War isn't a nice thing. It never will be. But sometimes it is necessary. Our government may not have handled our foreign policy the best way they could have, but like I said. We are where we are. If we were to just "pull out" of those areas, we would leave ourselves open to retaliation. It is a delicate situation. You say we should respect their position of wanting us out of their country, ok, why should we respect them when they blatantly disrespect us? If you don't believe in censorship in order to have more freedoms, what would you suggest doing? I really don't care if you know who I am or not, I didn't choose the name because of the movie.  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #12)

I did read some of the transcripts and would have to say that Biden wasn't all truthful. Ryan didn't do that great of a job either.  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #21)

Mitt Romney is NOT pro life.

Why do you think that?  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #11)

So you don't think that any form of censorship needs to be in place in regards to the internet, if I understand you correctly. So how do you feel about people being able to freely exploit children over the internet as a civil liberty? There are regulations for a reason, I'm not saying the government needs to be a part of our entire lives, don't get me wrong there. However, when your rights cross the line, should there not be consequences and ways to prevent that? Why do you believe the military budget needs to get cut? The military is the back-bone and forefront of our very being. Remove the military and we are left vulnerable. Do I believe we should be in certain other countries, no. But we are where we are for a reason. The middle east doesn't hate us because we are there, they hate us for our beliefs. Our presence adds fuel to the fire, but if we allow them to cross into our country and kill our people and then do nothing about it, then that gives them permission to wipe us out for no reason other than religious differences. I do not have a problem with you personally, the reason why I said your name is because it made me laugh that you chose "anon-y-mous " to post under. I do agree that there needs to be drastic change and that our country is on the fast track to ruin, however, I don't quite agree with your views. As you don't mine. There is no call however for you labeling all of humanity as stupid and the other downgrading terms you have used on Topix as well as your Facebook page. You boast about hating hate and the need for peace and tolerance, but you are one of the most hateful and least tolerant people I have ever met. Your opinions are you own, but who are you to tell others that their opinion doesn't matter and that their views are "f'd up". You are no different than anyone else and your opinions share the same weight as everyone else.  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #8)

Unlike anon-y-mous, I don't think you are blind. Read away, research on your own. A few highlights that I have pulled out of his history on abortion is that prior to 2005 he supported pro-choice because he didn't feel it was the governments place to make decisions on a personal level, but when it came to signing a piece of paper pertaining to abortion laws, he couldn't interfere with the sanctity of life. Sounds more to me like he was pretending to be pro-choice.  (Oct 11, 2012 | post #7)
