Bob and Randy never denied they were at the Upper Deck that Sunday, BUT...they weren't there "with" Troy. It's like me going to Wal-Mart and seeing Charles Manson. It doesn't mean we were there "together. " Bob and Randy have accounting for where they were when they left and came back. Unfortunately, the investigator and Prosecutor wanted to finagle with the times by intimidating the witnesses. http://www.recordp ub.com/news/articl e/1849312 Read what Ed Douglas says...  (Aug 27, 2008 | post #66)

I can't even begin to fathom why Troy would say that. I guess he was trying to keep his lies straight (which he failed at miserably) and tell investigators and police what they wanted to hear. In that same meeting with the investigators is when he says he'll "set up" Gondor and Resh. Bob and Randy were the last ones to close out the bar...with Ed Douglas <owner/bartende r> and Troy being there too. They drove separately and were talking outside when Ed locked up. There really isn't any significance with the wood and they don't deny throwing it. They were fooling around by throwing it across the street and Troy joined in. He seemed like he was lingering around waiting for a ride. There was NEVER any blood on the wood (as initially reported) and David Norris (prosecutor) knew it. He had a report in the case file showing that it wasn't blood, but "most likely perspiration. " Since you are from the area and know "Mantua Corners", think to yourself, "If I killed someone, put them in the back of my truck and there was blood all over the wood, would I really stand out near the intersection of Route 82 and Route 44 and throw bloody wood at The Corner Saloon? Then when the owner comes out (not once, but twice) and says that he's calling the cops, you would continue throwing it?" DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! (Troy also lied/changed his story about the size of the wood. From small cut outs of wood to 2x4's. C'mon! Whipping a 2x4 from the Upper Deck to the Corner Saloon across a two lane highway?! Yeah right!)  (Aug 26, 2008 | post #62)

I don't think that being mistaken about what activity someone participated in back in 7th/8th grade is considering "lying." So I'm sorry if I was mistaken. I, too, know all three men. Troy DOES know the whole truth, but as an admitted habitual liar, I don't think we will ever know what really happened the night he murdered Connie Nardi. One thing that we CAN agree on is that one day EACH ONE OF US will stand before God and give an account of our lives. That is something I know to be the truth!  (Aug 26, 2008 | post #59)

Yes, I do know the family. It is what it is... there was/is drug abuse, there was/is liars and there was theft going on. How is that judging? It's not. It's stating facts. Did you notice that I said "the majority" of the family? I didn't say his entire family...those were your words, not mine. No one is rejoicing in the death of Connie Nardi. It was an awful crime compounded with two wrongful convictions because of Troy along with many others (law enforcement, judges, lawyers, etc). Troy will not only have to answer to God about the murder of Connie Nardi, but also about the part he played by lying to wrongfully convict Bob and Randy to get himself out of the death penalty.  (Aug 26, 2008 | post #57)

So Gondor wrestled in junior high, Resh played football in high school and Troy...what did he do? Drugs and alcohol ALL THE TIME! Hmmm...now who would I believe? The majority of his family is known in the community as liars, drug abusers and thieves. So if you are proud to call them your "friends ", so be it. It seems like you are doing an awful lot of "pointing " away from Troy being indicted, convicted and PLEADING GUILTY to the murder of Connie Nardi. Maybe you were involved someway or know more than you are admitting to. Is that a possibility??  (Aug 26, 2008 | post #54)

Maybe you have friend's that lie because you are friend's with Troy, but I don't have friend's that lie.  (Aug 25, 2008 | post #50)

Dude...get your FACTS straight! No, Gondor wasn't a wrestler in middle school and/or high school. I thought you said in your other post to "read the facts, not court documents because they lie." Isn't that just what you are doing? You are reading the court documents about a "sleeper, arm bar hold." I'm pretty sure I know who you are, so don't think you can hide behind your sign on.  (Aug 25, 2008 | post #49)

I just hope that a new prosecutor is elected into office and that he/she cleans out all the "garbage " that has lingered there WAY TOO LONG! (Kovach, Carroll)  (Aug 21, 2008 | post #63)

To my friends, Clarence, Melinda, Brooke and family... I pray that God would bring peace to your hearts and help you be able to move forward. There will never be a "moving on" because it just doesn't work that way, I know. I am still so, so sorry for the death of Judith. She seems to be the forgotten victim, but because you fought for her, Mindy, she is able to FINALLY rest in peace. Brooke, I wish nothing but joy and happiness in your young life. You've been through so much, but I see a bright, wonderful future for you. Clarence, you know how I feel, brother. You are always in our prayers and I know that you will soon find the path that God wants you to walk on. Keep your head held high!!  (Aug 19, 2008 | post #24)
