What is wrong with Americans???

"Its sick and perverse that you people would celebrate the existence of such weapons, and that you justify it through outdated constitutional rights." People aren't worked up about guns but the government taking our guns. Taking away some power and rights from the people is what people are so worked up about. Even the way power is set up in America is to protect the people. That's what "check and balance" is all about. " Look what happens when dumb UK police officers use their weapons" I understand but imagine a Muslim country taking our weapons away. Imagine what the Syrian people lives wouldve been like if the government took their guns. revolution would be out of the picture.  (Aug 25, 2012 | post #30)

What do Muslims fear most?

The reason I didn't answer your question from the start cus as a Muslim I don't find these questions challenging or even entertaining. I told to try questions that are deeper cus Islam is pretty clear. At least it will be some what of a challenge.  (Aug 25, 2012 | post #70)

So as you can see this incident in the prophet's lifetime does NOT disprove his prophethood, rather it is a great proof and evidence that he is a prophet! He asks Allah for help, and Allah comes to his aid! There is a whole moral and wisdom behind this story, and the wisdom behind this story is that if we are afflicted with some sort of evil then we must look and turn to Allah for the help and cure, because Allah is the only one who can protect and save us. This is the entire basis of this incident, that we put all our faith and trust in Allah. As Allah himself says in the Noble Quran: 033.003 YUSUFALI: And put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs. 007.196 YUSUFALI: "For my Protector is Allah, Who revealed the Book (from time to time), and He will choose and befriend the righteous. 003.150 YUSUFALI: Nay, Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers. Lastly, all of us will be tested by God, including the prophet himself, therefore it should not surprise us if harm comes to the prophet, as the Quran says: 002.214 YUSUFALI: Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you?they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah?" Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near! So in conclusion this hadith does not disprove Muhammad as a prophet, nor does it question his credibility. If anyone is honest with themselves they will accept the hadith for what it is, and what it says, that angels came to the prophet, and that Allah cured and healed the prophet Muhammad. I testify that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger! And Allah Knows Best!  (Aug 25, 2012 | post #69)

What do Muslims fear most?

the magic that was performed on the prophet made him believe he was doing things which he actually wasn't. the prophet himself was conscious of the fact that something was wrong, as we read the hadith we see: " One day he invoked (Allah) for a long period and then said, "I feel that Allah has inspired me as how to cure myself..." ( Sahih Bukhari, volume 4, book 54, and number 490). So as you can see the prophet invoked and prayed to God for help and a cure, hence the prophet was aware that there was something wrong, hence he was conscious of the problem. Now the next parts of the hadith prove that Muhammad is indeed a true prophet, because remember he asks Allah for help and a cure, and Allah hears the prophet's prayer and helps him. "Two persons came to me (in my dream) and sat, one by my head and the other by my feet. One of them asked the other, "What is the ailment of this man?" The other replied, 'He has been bewitched" The first asked, 'Who has bewitched him?' The other replied, 'Lubaid bin Al-A'sam.' The first one asked, 'What material has he used?' The other replied, 'A comb, the hair gathered on it, and the outer skin of the pollen of the male date-palm.' The first asked, 'Where is that?' The other replied, 'It is in the well of Dharwan.' " So, the Prophet went out towards the well and then returned and said to me on his return, "Its date-palms (the date-palms near the well) are like the heads of the devils." (same hadith). So notice two persons come to the prophet in a dream, two angels. As you can see the angels tell the prophet where the materials for the bewitchment are, and the prophet eventually goes to this location and sees it for himself. Now one would think that the prophet Muhammad would go and destroy the material to be freed from the bewitchment, yet he does not! "Did you take out those things with which the magic was worked?" He said, "No, for I have been cured by Allah and I am afraid that this action may spread evil amongst the people." Later on the well was filled up with earth." (same hadith). So notice the prophet Muhammad did not need to destroy the material, because God himself had cured the prophet!  (Aug 25, 2012 | post #68)

I don't really care about the length of time, but about accuracy. If your going to post and argument make sure you the correct information. Other wise you sound like those Christians who are looking for converts. Now lets talk about the topic  (Aug 25, 2012 | post #67)

Why was prophet mohammed possessed by black magic?

You're telling me about Islam not Allah. A kid would tell me Allah is God our creator. But someone who supposedly a former Muslim, you sure speak like wikipedia. It's clear to muslims who Allah is. http://m.youtube.c om/watch?v=9HvyMv3 sGJ8 "There is no limit to Allahs forgiveness except shirk(setting up partners with him). " correction, only if you die soon it it is unforgivable. If you sincerely repent before that your good to go.  (Aug 25, 2012 | post #38)

What do Muslims fear most?

First of Allah, I'm a female. Second, I said any hadith that you say it was six Weeks is fabricated. "I think the reason you are so stubborn is lack of knowledge in Islam. Or lack of logic." Ok Mr. no ego, yet you call me stubborn. Lol. I haven't even started yet, why so touchy? Anyways, just because your not a Muslim what makes you think your not stubborn any more? I can care less what you are but why do you care if we are Muslim or not? It sounds like you want to convert people and not discuss Islam. Just saying.  (Aug 25, 2012 | post #63)

Why was prophet mohammed possessed by black magic?

Lol. Exactly. He lacks common knowledge in Islam to even post a good argument against Islam I have a feeling he was never a Muslim. Look at the difference between these questions 1) quran is not the word of Allah. Never was Muslim. 2) The quran has contradictions. Maybe a he/she was Muslim one time in there life. 3) I don't find the quran as the word of Allah. Here are my reasons... that's I think some way helpful to show the difference. But there are always more clues. The easy way to find out is to see if they screw up with basic knowledge a Muslim give year old would know  (Aug 24, 2012 | post #27)

What is wrong with Americans???

@Ruby "The Second Amendment: A well regulated Militiabeing necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." Look up second amendment, if you want to know more. The original intent and purpose of the Second Amendment was to preserve and guarantee, not grant, the pre-existing right of individuals to keep and bear arms. Although the amendment emphasizes the need for a militia, membership in any militia, let alone a well-regulated one, was not intended to serve as a prerequisite for exercising the right to keep arms. Anyways, don't insult the founding fathers. They made this country what it is today.  (Aug 24, 2012 | post #25)

What is wrong with Americans???

No that's not my argument. I don't like guns but I don't want people taking any of my rights away. One gets worried about their rights after they changed the citizenship laws post 9 11. Scary stuff really.  (Aug 24, 2012 | post #23)

What is wrong with Americans???

I don't own a gun but those who do wouldn't think it's silly. Most Americans who own a gun don't misuses it. Also, the founding father were actually against democracy. They thought the people couldn't be trust with so much power and responsibility. they didn't like the idea of majority taking the rights of a minority or any single individual.they didn't want another type of monarchy like they experience in Britain. They were right. We almost did have civil rights because of democracy.  (Aug 24, 2012 | post #18)
