Your right that is what gives us small town folks a bad name. This is about the biggest mess I recon I have ever seen. The Baxley boy probably could have handled things a little better but he wasn't that bad and Rhoton I think did the best he could. If I ain't mistaken either they asked him and his mom to do it or they volunteered. I can't figure out why that boy would wreck the place if he was the the one that was gonna clean it up. I recon he's got more time on his hands than me.But for the most part it seems the parents were not all that upset when he was doing it. This Worthington fella has got his work cut out for him for sure.That poor boy has been dropped off in the middle of a bunch of alligators without a weapon one.It is a plum disgrace that the people of Vernon can't act no better than this. Give the boy a chance.You can't even sit in the local restraunt and eat breakfast without hearing some mess about it. THey shouldn't be cussing down there around all those youngins. Back when my boys played we would just ask them to leave and if they wouldn't then we would call the police or walk them out to the parking lot away from the game and talk with them. Careful Mrs Nole. You know they used to hang people in that town at the city square. From the looks of things you could be next with those others. Pretty nice of you to apologize can't say it would do much good with these guys reading the rest of their comments. Being a Vernon alumni myself this kind of behavior bothers me. Of course I was there quite a bit longer than 22 years ago. I thought after the hook to the head Vernon had settled down a bit guess I was wrong. (May 13, 2008 | post #16)
