ALI is not a muslim, he belongs to the Nation of Islam. a creation of a black con man in the 1930's. it has no connection to the Arab world. Malcom X made a pilgramage to Mecca and had his eyes opened, and when he tried to educate members of the Nation of Islam to the reality he was killed to shut him up. i applaud Ali for standing up to the draft, he probably would have spent his time on the US ARMY boxing team, giving exhibitions etc. what about our other famous draft dodger old Slick Willy, he gets away with it and becomes a president, Ali had to fight his way back into the ring.
