Excuse me! If you back up a few years, we had two 10 minute breaks, not 1 but 2! We gave up one of them to get a paid lunch. Ms. Smarter than everyone else, comprehend the post! No where did it say anything about the meeting. No where does it say anything about the people. No where does it say anything about giving anything up. No where does it say anything about the compacity of the plant. I come in to do what is expected of me everyday. I don't suck up or kiss up to anyone to be TOOK CARE of. Now what the post did say was that Jeff got on here and posted a bunch of CRAP! He, as in no one else on the bargaining commitee got on here and posted the way he did. He did answer questions and also made plenty of posts full of testosterone. Yes, he did have the balls and then he misplaced them. What was up with that??? Okay, I will give him the benefit of doubt, I'm sure he was in a no win situation but why get on here and post the complete opposite. Just don't post at all! As far as being in any of their shoes, they accepted that position voluntarily. If they can't stand the heat.....stay out of the kitchen! Now to answer what you wrote which had no revelance to my post. You are right in that we didn't have anything to fight with but it had nothing to do with the capacity of the plant. What makes you think it's all about money for me? Just because it IS that way for you since you NEED all that overtime! I DO NOT NEED A SECOND JOB AND I DON'T NEED TO WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK! UNLIKE YOU I HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF WORK AND MY FINANCES ARE IN ORDER! What did bother me the most about the proposal had nothing to do with money what so ever. You would never understand that since you're a strickly "ALL ABOUT ME" person who doesn't have an inkling what a UNION actually is. See I don't think..........I KNOW I could find another job just as well as this one. Only time will tell about the year and a half. You should be very scared and if your not ..........could you possibly pass that hooter you're token on? I know you want to hang on to this job, your next employer might not cater to your wants, nor let you bullie others around, give you a radio so you can rat out co-workers, make you wear safety glasses, steel toe shoes and definitely retire those stretched to the max outdated spandex shorts but Hey think about it......there would be a whole new crew of maintainence men!!!!!!!!!! Hell the next ones might even be single! 0+0="0" Now "Go Fish"  (May 6, 2007 | post #2185)

In prior post from one of our union reps he was all the time commenting for individuals to get a SACK. Before it was all said and done..........he lost his. So you can take it anyway you want too since "STRASBURG 11" is already a SCABBIE SLEEZE without a picture who feeds off the dues paying members and there's no kind of about it! It's a fact gathered from your posts!  (Apr 23, 2007 | post #2054)

Our lunch was paid but the members gave up a 10 minute break to get that paid lunch. I'm so gald the "NOBLE" Swallow felt obliged to answer your post since after staying off of the forum once it was discovered for what he true agenda was. He should be on the "OFFICAL IGNORE LIST"! What a joke! We thought he was a "HERO" but he turned out to be just another "ZERO"! Wishing you the best and hope yours goes better than ours did!  (Apr 23, 2007 | post #2044)

IAC Sidney has no backbone

Mimi There was a reason for that. It doesn't take very long to figure that one out. Look at the picture......it shows what he seems to have lost! Hell he don't even deserve the sweat off my beer let alone what's in it! Pathetic is right on target.  (Apr 23, 2007 | post #12)

GOOD POST! They are all disillusioned! Wishing Carlisle all the best and aplogize for our lack of SOLIDarity. Most were just happy to get their overtime and would have voted away anything to insure they kept that option. Fools!  (Apr 23, 2007 | post #11)

Your opinion as I'm sure most will agree doesn't amount to a hill of beans. From now on, in anything you do your sleezy reputation will proceed you.  (Apr 23, 2007 | post #2043)

I wouldn't leave, that would make it too easy for your scabbie behind! I would insure that you would be out the door too right ahead of me. See I would look out for my best interest and make sure you got yours too! I'm sure I can find another job but I'm not about to hand the one I have over without a having any input in the matter.  (Apr 22, 2007 | post #2032)

I don't know what to make out of all this! The only word that comes to mind is: D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N- T-E-D I have this tremedous feeling of being let down. What a shame! I feel I have no one to blame but myself for being such a believer! Live and Learn though.  (Apr 16, 2007 | post #1923)

Our Sidney reps have been meeting with members to see what they felt was wrong with the purposal and get their views on it. Haven't heard anything else. Other than that it has been business as usual.  (Apr 10, 2007 | post #1805)

I can agree with you on some things like taking time to throughly understand the porposal before casting out ballots but not on most. I feel as though our reps have done the best they can. They can't do a whole lot if the company won't budge. Quit the argueing that is going on among us. If it passes than we will deal with it. If it fails we will deal with it. Nobody needs to FORCE their views on anybody. We all have a mind of our own and should use it as YOU see fit. Please voice your opinions only. It is up to us to decide what we can live with and without. As far as Jeff's position, I hope someone does try to fill his shoes if he should decide not to run again since I think he would be a tough act to follow!  (Mar 30, 2007 | post #1647)

You must have misunderstood my post since my intentions were not to make anybody look bad. I feel my reps, including Jeff are doing the best they can.......they just don't have a lot to work with. I just want to understand so I can make the best informed decision possible. You are never going to know how someone votes unless you are standing right beside them and that's about the only way.  (Mar 30, 2007 | post #1646)
