I have one of the recalled Guidant 1298 pacemakers and I have never received anything from Guidant except one letter a long time ago telling me to do nothing... I have been having complications with my pacemaker. Can I sue Guidant?  (Feb 4, 2008 | post #6)

Hi Newbie here. I have one of the recalled Guidant pacemakers. I have been having a lot of problems with my pacer not working correctly. Is there a class action settlement or should I just go after Guidant myself? My doctor says I am going to have to get a new pacer, BUT I am uninsured and I think Guidant should have to pay....
