If Mr. Lamb is re-elected would he be a double-dipper? VOTE ANSPACH AND MUTERSPAW!  (Oct 16, 2013 | post #1942)

The Township still needs someone with the courage to run against Wade or nothing is going to chance.  (Jul 16, 2013 | post #1907)

Thank you, that is what I meant, effective rate didn't get my irony I guess. I did walk to the mailbox and ask my 72 yr old neighbor third generation Clearcreek resident, about the Muterspaw family, got good comments, Small farm Pekin Rd, active with 4H, thought he's wife was a teacher, no mention of ax-murdering. Wade-Lamb and Gabbard, might as well hand over our check books, savings and deeds.  (Apr 24, 2013 | post #947)

If approved by voters, property owners in the township - and the city of Springboro - would pay an additional $137.81 a year for every $100,000 in property valuation, according to the county auditor's office. In 2014, property owners would pay $463.66 for every $100,000 of property value - more than any other township in the county, unless additional levies are approved, according to the auditor's office. That was copied from the DDN. March 13, 2013 minutes, Mrs. Oda reported the township has $12,366,469.34 on hand. We are overtaxed already. According to the county Petition list we have running for Clearcreek Twp Trustee; Robert Lamb, Cathy Anspach, Ed Wade and Steven A Muterspaw. My household is voting NO in May and for Cathy Anspach and Steven A Muterspaw, frankly I have no idea who Mr. Muterspaw is, but he's got my vote.  (Apr 24, 2013 | post #939)

If the fire levy fails, and the fire chief and department personnel actually have cuts to pay and benefits, I think the Fire Chief and Union members will quickly demand the Trustees stop wasting money for nonsense and "double dipping". The township government's first responsibility is to provide Police and Fire/EMT Services, the township has a surplus of money that can be used for the fire department. The jobs report for March was terrible, showing this economy slowing even more. More taxes are simply insanity when waste is so obvious. NO to Taxes in May and Out with Wade in November.  (Apr 6, 2013 | post #587)

And Heatherwood Golf Course! The city is losing money there so the Township Helps the city with the cost of the library and astro turfing the park fields etc. So if you live in the Township but in Waynesville, Lebanon or Franklin is it fair you have to help pay for Springboro recreations also? The township has the power to collect taxes for the citizens NEEDS, police and fire/EMT should be FIRST and it can come out of the general fund, 1.5 mill for farmland that won't be a park for heaven knows how long and astro turf are not needs, huge salaries and double dipping when the personal income level in the US drop 3.6%, the most in 20 years. STOP THE WASTE VOTE NO in May and vote Wade out in November!  (Mar 22, 2013 | post #311)

I work in the real world also, in the last 4 years, as a small business owner I have cut my pay 50% before my employees, then had to cut theirs and reduce hours. My health insurance increases 12 to 20% every year. My homeowners insurance is up, I refi'ed my house and got sick when the appraisal came back so much lower than 3 years ago. I see lots of other people in the same position or worse. Fair share and shared sacrifice reaallllyy? Vote No, LEVY MONEY CANNOT be used for anything else but General Taxes can go to the fire department NEEDS.  (Mar 12, 2013 | post #175)

Where are the facts for a need of a levy? Where is a budget? A simply Budget with amounts, numbers. I haven't seen one in the minutes, on the website, anywhere. Numbers simply math.  (Mar 8, 2013 | post #90)

The Township Trustees do control the money spent on the fire department, they approve new equipment, training, raises, employment etc. If the fire department needs money they should release a budget showing the necessity. Cathy Anspach voted no to putting the levy on, saying cost should be cut first, she see the finances, she must see something. I think everyone supports police and firefighters, and if the levy does not pass the fire department should blame the Trustee's wasteful spending and keeping taxpayer money $14million surplus and not giving the taxpayer holiday recommended by the fiscal officer. If your neighbor bought a new Mercedes and a new boat, then ask you to give him money to pay his electric bill and give him groceries, would you ask "Why did you buy Expensive Toys before Needs???" If his answer is "Well the toys came out of my general account, it still has $14mill, but electric and food come out of my necessary account, it overdrawn." Would you happily pay for his electric and groceries when your car is 10 years old and you are cutting coupons for groceries?  (Mar 8, 2013 | post #89)

The union money will back whoever gives them the most for their money. One person has to run against Wade so the vote isn't divided, Cathy Anspach run as a Democrat and amazingly beat McDonald, maybe the County Democratic Office would help.  (Mar 4, 2013 | post #36)

June of 2011 1.5 million from Jason. Jason Gabbard and his wife continue to live in the farm house on the property. I have never found a vote in the minutes on buying the property and Patrica Allen Park is still being developed. http://www.daytond ailynews.com/news/ news/local/park-to -preserve-legacy-o f-longtime-farm-ow ners/nMsNx/  (Mar 4, 2013 | post #35)

One strong person is needed with everyone putting their support behind him/her. Gabbard only got 38.79% of the vote, the remaining 61% was divided among the four other people running. Those four all seem to have had the right ideas to stop wasteful spending and corrupt nonsense. One strong candidate could beat Wade with a united message. Re-elect Anspach and the vote would turn 2 against Gabbard's vote on the board.  (Mar 3, 2013 | post #28)
