Question about the idling

I hope people continue to buy cars from Chrysler during this process. I would hate to see the company fold, because of this.  (Apr 30, 2009 | post #4)

Is It True??Another Buyout Extension.

They offered a buyout for people with 25 or more years service at TMP. But they only got retirement credit for years of service, not as if they had 30 or more years of service. Less pension.  (Apr 26, 2009 | post #52)

Selfish pigs....

Allthough UAW retirees can still vote in elections. The majority of retirees don,t, because they don,t know the people who are running for election, since they don,t work there anymore. And they feel it,s more of an issue for the workers, other than themselves. Retirees participate more in the rtetirement chapter.  (Apr 19, 2009 | post #50)

Where will our children work in the future?

Being an autoworker is a thankless job. I retired from Chrysler after 38 years service. And the day i retired, not one single person ever came up to me and said congratulations, or shook my hand, I worked with some good people. The only thing people were concerned about was, that they could move up a notch, after i was retired, and that they could move into an easier job after i retired, alot of jealously. So i came to the conclusion, that the only thing that mattered was, was the welfare of myself, and my family, and the satisfaction that i put in 38 years of service.  (Apr 19, 2009 | post #3)
