Chris Kaufman?

Chris was loved by many. Let's respect his memory and let him rest in peace. He may have had some struggles towards the end, but Chris had a big heart. He was a great guy.  (Apr 12, 2012 | post #7)

Occupy Wall St - Metropolis, IL

Because DC is where the Capital Building, The White House, and Congress are. If you want to change anything, you have to ensure just legislation and constitutionality.  (Apr 12, 2012 | post #18)

Occupy Wall St - Metropolis, IL

I support it for the most part. I strongly believe that putting all the blame on Wall Street is a bit of a misnomer. If you want to get technical and hold the government and our monetary system accountable to the constitution you'd be more correct. We should be protesting to End the Federal reserve fiat money system, and we should be protesting at the White House for moving this country towards fascism for the past 100 plus years.  (Nov 1, 2011 | post #1)

What do you think?

Do you think that we still have rights in the U.S.? Do you think this country will ever have a revolution and get back to following the constitution? Do you think that most people will ever figure out that the 2 party system that has developed, left vs. right, Republican vs. Democrat will ever end? How long do you think it will take for people to realize that there is NO difference between the 2 parties and that they're 2 sides of the same coin?  (Nov 1, 2011 | post #1)

Comet, Asteroid or Planet X to hit Earth in near future?

Hmm.. I think you meant the God Anu and the race called the Annunakki from a planet called Nibiru. :P I will have to check out Dr. York. Thanks. :)  (Aug 20, 2011 | post #4)

Comet, Asteroid or Planet X to hit Earth in near future?

I would recommend reading The Twelfth Planet by Zechariah Sitchin. Very informative on Planet Nibiru and the Annunakki.  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #2)

Seriously?

Umm... no. The truth hurts. I'm just making observations and giving opinion. I'm not being hateful. You seem to have a conditioned response to the rot comment and the christian one. If you are a christian with rotten teeth I'm sorry, and don't mean to offend. I was genuinely commenting on how people don't take care of themselves, and that poverty cannot be used as an excuse as to why people don't take care of themselves. As far as the religious thing is concerned, I was merely saying people have no respect for privacy in this area and my personal faith or lack thereof is no one's business but my own. I pray to you pray for someone else. If I'm wrong about the whole Jesus thing, I'm sure he's in no mood to answer your prayers about me. One more thing, I'm happy. You have no idea.  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #5)

Pot, Liquor, & Lortabs

I love the combo. Now that's what I call an anti-depressant. Of course, only in moderation. But the combination is priceless.  (Jul 27, 2011 | post #23)

Kandi girl at the pony!

I still haven't been to The Pony. I can't wait to go! I'm sure not all of the strippers are nasty. I mean, we do live in an odd town for a strip club, but I encourage stripping.  (Jul 27, 2011 | post #2)

Seriously?

I would love to, but honestly a person like me wouldn't be allowed to win. I know that sounds defeatist, but I don't mean for it too. I just want to inspire others to take responsibility for their lives and well being. That's all. :) Thanks.  (Jul 27, 2011 | post #3)

Seriously?

So... Wow. This is what people do in Metropolis these days? Yeah, so everyone seems to have a bad attitude. No surprise there. They live in Metropolis, and there is really nothing to do. All of the old conservative tightasses keep this town from going anywhere cool. Hell, Paducah sucks, but it has more to offer than Metropolis does. Why not model after at least Paducah? I live here in recently moved to Metropolis for family and other personal reasons. I just can't believe how behind things are here. I understand poverty, as I have been poor my entire life, but I really don't understand the mindset and the people here. People in Metropolis have no concept of privacy. When someone asks me what church I go to, it makes me furious. First of all, I'm not a Christian, but that's really none of your business. Secondly, even if I were a Christian, which I am not, what does it matter what Church I go to? Is that really how people make friends here? "Well if you're not saved by the blood of Jesus then you know you're going to hell, right?" F%$k no I'm not! You assume I believe in this Hell you speak of, and it's ridiculous. Do you want to know what Hell is to me? Hell, is letting poverty control your life, hell is using your last few dollars for food on a pack of smokes and lottery tickets, only to have your kids starve as well. Hell is not taking care of yourself and walking around with a false sense of entitlement; as if someone owes you something. People around here need to realize that they are responsible for their own actions, and for their lack of money and poor health. I understand the economy has gone to s$#t, and as I have mentioned above, I've been poor my entire life. Grow up and evolve, people. And I have to get this off of my chest. I've been a smoker for nearly 20 years, I haven't been able to afford much at all, but I feed myself before I poison my lungs. In any case, I haven't been able to visit the dentist for over 7 years. But I take care of myself. Answer this for me; why do over half the people I run into in this town have black, rotted, mangled teeth? Why? I mean, it really doesn't make any sense. Just brush the fu&%ing things. My teeth may have a bit of cigarette stains, but I brush, floss, and generally take care of myself. I understand that cigarettes are poison, but that's now what we're discussing here. Now I feel a bit better.  (Jul 27, 2011 | post #1)
