Parents error in being their student's friend not parents
I agree with that sentiment for very young children, but teens are too old to need authoritarian parents. Parents should only serve as guides and mentors. (Aug 11, 2008 | post #2)
What if anything is being done to make certain that no more wolf pups are shot in the head by self-righteous wildlife officials? The people of AK have twice voted to end aerial shooting of wolves, yet it continues. Why is the will of the tax payers not be respected? Does the Alaskan government have so little respect for the land that it will just kill off any animal it sees as a threat to its lucrative hunting industry? Shame on each and every one of them for allowing this murder to continue! (Aug 5, 2008 | post #1)
PA open carry activists file suits against Dickson City police
I just read about what happened. What an outrage! Hopefully with the reestablishment of the Second Amendment, the open carry advocates will win a huge victory over the gun grabbing commies. (Jul 20, 2008 | post #1)
Cell phone confiscation probed
Typical of the old thinking they have the right to push the young around. Just wait, old people. You won't be strong forever. Someday, we will push back. (Jul 20, 2008 | post #136)

Poll: Schools not properly preparing kids for life
The only thing I was "taught" in school was mindless obedience to authority. Good preparation to be a mindless drone, poor preparation to be a sovereign citizen. (Jun 28, 2008 | post #142)
Detroit Zoo could go to regional authority
Whatever it takes to keep the Zoo open. Generations of people have been going to it. It would be a shame to lose it over fiduciary concerns. (Jun 28, 2008 | post #5)
City denies license for massage business
Why should anyone need a license to run a business in the first place? That sounds like Soviet policy to me. We are supposed to be a Laissez-faire free market, aren't we? (Apr 29, 2008 | post #1)
Coolidge Highway closed again?
What the hell is up with Coolidge Hwy.? For the second time in a year, Coolidge between Woodward Ave. and Normandy Ave. is being closed down. It looks like it is the exact same procedure that was carried out upon the highway in September and October of last year. Honestly, isn't once enough? If anyone knows what's going on and why this is being done again, please respond. (Apr 29, 2008 | post #1)

Well, I think Prince William is cool, but he should be court martialled for taking the chopper on a joy ride. (Apr 21, 2008 | post #178)
