BIG TEN OFFERS: Big 10 Extends Offer To Mizzou, Nebraska
I find it hard to believe that the Big Ten would make a decision so quickly after saying that the process would most likely take a few years. I also find it hard to believe that the Big Ten would make this offer under the table to two teams when the goal of expansion is to have a playoff game (need 12 or 14 teams, not 13). The part I find the hardest to believe is that Fox4KC is the first to scoop this. Not a single other news source is backing this up. Fox4KC, what is your source? I'm not looking for a name, just a claim that you even have a source and didn't make this up. (May 10, 2010 | post #5)

Interesting write up. It's something that I think most of us take for granted. Thanks for the info! (Dec 4, 2009 | post #3)

OSU's "technology programs"?? What the heck is a tech program??? You sound like an angry 11 year old who didn't get to take the pretty girl to the dance this year. Devry and ITT have your name written all over it. Go for it son. (Nov 16, 2009 | post #110)

I can say that the arena (and I assume the team) have really vitalized the area. That being said, they've sucked. They've made it to the playoffs once? Besides ticket costs, you can walk out the door without dropping $20/person on food or drinks. A coke shouldn't cost $4. If they can't make it while gouging the hell out of their audience, maybe it's time for them to go. (Nov 5, 2009 | post #20)
Questions Raised About Panic Over 'Balloon Boy' Falcon Heene
Ya, my gut tells me that it was a hoax but regardless, he should still have to pay. (Oct 19, 2009 | post #32)
Questions Raised About Panic Over 'Balloon Boy' Falcon Heene
To be fair, kids do say weird things sometimes. Perhaps the father had talked about using the balloon for a show. Even so, if I don't put the parking break on my car and it rolls for miles and hours (not likely but you get the point), I would be held responsible for the amount of time and manpower it took to make sure that no one got hurt. I should be held responsible. In my opinion, regardless of the alleged intentions of the father, he should still be held responsible and charged. (Oct 19, 2009 | post #29)
