Everyone has their opinion about who is better in what areas but unlike the BCS and college football, the outcome is determined on the field! Both teams have had a great season and will probably meet for the championship game to settle this dispute. (Tuesday Dec 15 | post #19)
***Henderson done for the Year***
We still have a lead on Arizona and can finish the season as the number 2 team and host a divisional round playoff game. Don't give up the ship yet! (Tuesday Dec 8 | post #14)
***Henderson done for the Year***
Fran, I hope you are right about the punch in the mouth! We are home for Cincinnati so the crowd should help. Bottom line is we have to play better against good competion. I agree, Windfield must have had a broken bone in his foot and it is slowly healing otherwise he would have been playing already. (Monday Dec 7 | post #5)
Tom Powers: Less-than-best Adrian Peterson left Vikings wanting
I don't know if they can make it that far the way they played last night! (Monday Dec 7 | post #16)
***Henderson done for the Year***
That is going to hurt the vikes defense. Tough game next week against Cincinnati. Green Bay is in the rear view mirror (Monday Dec 7 | post #2)
Brett Favre on Vikings' loss to Cardinals: They outplayed us
That is my concern also. Here we are in December and now we play a couple of good teams in a row, Cincinnati next week. We havn't beaten any quality teams this year! I hate to say it but we might have a two game lossing streak coming on...........The team was out played and out coached! (Monday Dec 7 | post #13)
VMI Cadet Collapses, Dies After March
My son is also currently a rat @VMI. He is in Alpha Company and completed the same conditioning hike everyone is scrutinizing. My son said the hike was the same as the others except longer. They conducted the hike as it is supposed to be executed, with no deviations from the scheduled breaks, etc. It is a tough loss for his family and the institute. God bless cadet Evans and his family during this difficult time. (Nov 9, 2009 | post #3)
Green Bay Packers: How should Green Bay "welcome back" Brett Fa...

Mike Tomlin shows he was the Steelers' right man all along
I had to look around the forumn for a familiar voice. This site has gone to the dogs. (Oct 27, 2009 | post #114)
I have been watching the vikes for too many years now to get carried away with a fast start to a season. The point being we have yet to beat a quality team unless you consider Green Bay a quality team. Since they are the only team we have beat this year that in fact has a winning record. They are 4-2. Of the teams we beat, including the packers, they have a combined record of 12-26. Not very impressive when you consider we squeaked by SF (3-3) and Baltimore (3-3). That means the other teams we beat are 2-18. Until we start beating quality teams the record means nothing because the playoffs only have teams with winning records. To bad! (Oct 27, 2009 | post #1)
**Put the Pixie Boy on suicide watch**
You can add Trent Dilfer to that list. (Sep 4, 2009 | post #14)
What rift are they talking about? Some reporters that have come out recently with articles can't find any evidence of a division in the locker room. Garad Allan said it is a bunch of "crap" It looks like it was a slow news day and somebody made the whole thing up! (Aug 28, 2009 | post #19)
Adrian Peterson happy to have Brett Favre on board
If you use that kind of analysis than Fran Tarkington didn't want to win either 0-18! (Aug 27, 2009 | post #3)
And what do you call TJ? Young with limited potential that may develop over the next 10 yrs! The Vikes won't be in Minnesota if the team brings him along at the snails pace he has shown over the last few years........... (Aug 27, 2009 | post #35)
Right on Gonzo! When do you think TJ and Avant will tie the knot! He is slobbering all over him every moment......... (Aug 27, 2009 | post #5)
