The solution to evolution is education!

I reiterate that the solution to evolution is education! If we teach the true facts of science and teach our people to think critically they will never believe the Just So Stories of the evolutionists. Besides, what is so dangerous about the facts that support creation? A belief in creation destroys the works of the Devil! That is what is so important about it and why evolutionists cling to their faith position concerning it. Evolution is a religion of conveniences. The acceptance of evolution is the only way in which people may mentally justify that there is no God. The acceptance of evolution is the only way in which they may mentally justify that they may lead a sinless life with Jesus Christ. The Bible declares that this is manifest delusion. Paul used creation to lead the Greek evolutionists of Athens to Christ. (See Acts Chapter 17) Paul wrote a letter to the evolutionists warning of the consequences of evolutionary philosophy. (See Romans Chapter 1:16+) Peter warned us about what evolutionists would say in our time. (See II Peter 3:3-7) You and I need to do the same thing in our time. You and I need to: "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil [Evolutionary Just So Stories]. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness [those who would teach evolution theory without revocation], against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, [the whole counsel of God] that you may be able to resist in the evil day [in our time], and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm, therefore, having girded your loins with truth [in part, the knowledge of the truths of creation science], and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one. [If we have our minds right, then false arguments will have no effect on us.] Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. [Use the Berean method of proof. If it doesn't line up with Gods word, then it is to be rejected.] With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my [and your] behalf, that utterances may be given to me [us] in the opening of my [our] mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I [we] am [are] an ambassador[s] in chains; that in proclaiming it I [we] may speak boldly, as I [we] ought to speak." In Christ Jesus we pray, AMEN!  (8 hrs ago | post #1)

Turn to the Lord today!

The sinner is not only to forsake his thoughts, but also his way (actions). This is more than an intellectual acknowledgment that he has sinned. He must turn from those sins—he must confess and forsake them (see Proverbs 28:13). In doing so, he will be abundantly pardoned. Repentance is not a “work,” as some would say. It is God-given to sinners, as is faith. See Acts 5:31; 11:18. Isaiah 55:7: "Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man this thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon." If you are truly wanting to change from your sinful life and you want to follow the Lord, repent your sins and leave the way of this world behind. The precise words you use to commit yourself to God are not important. He knows the intentions of your heart. If you are unsure of what to pray, this might help you put it into words: Dear Father I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You came to earth 2,000 years ago. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead and ascended to heaven. I believe You are coming back again to earth. Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. Forgive my sin. I promise to turn away from sin and I forgive ALL those who have sinned against me. Cleanse me now with Your precious blood. I now open the door of my heart, Come into my heart Lord Jesus. Save my soul right now. I surrender my life to You. I receive You now as my personal Lord and Saviour, I now close the door of my heart with you Lord inside. I am Yours forever, and I will serve You, study the Bible and follow You the rest of my days! From this moment on, I belong to You only. I no longer belong to this world, nor to the enemy of my soul, I renounce Satan and the kingdom of darkness. I break every curse spoken over my life in Jesus name. I love You and praise You, For saving me today. It's through Jesus Christ that I pray, Amen! God never promises tomorrow, your eternity could begin this very day! You're only one heartbeat away!  (8 hrs ago | post #1)

Prayer for today

Dear Heavenly Father, We know You are our perfect example of love, in sending Your one and only Son to the cross to die our death that we might be reconciled with You, and how deep the love that held Him there when He could have called down angels to deliver Him from death. Instead, He gave His life for each and every person who lived and would live. We stand in awe of Your love for us, and thank You that we may experience that love, as well as to catch a small glimpse of the Father's love for the Son and us, in the love of a parent and child here on earth. There is certainly no love like the love of a father and mother for their child. How heartbreaking to lose that child! We lift up a prayer for parents who have experienced a miscarriage, have lost a son or daughter, and also those parents whose child was perhaps lost or stolen and has never been found. It is difficult to fathom the pain of such a loss, and we pray that whether the sting of this is fresh or has eased with time, You would be near to the families involved, consoling and giving peace as only You can, Lord. Let them know they are loved. We pray that those who don't know Jesus yet as their personal Lord and Savior would receive Him. Please let them feel Your presence clearly and feel Your love, and though they may never have an earthly answer when they ask "why," help them to rest in Your presence and Your plan. We pray that families would be comforted and hearts would be healed, and that You would be honored and glorified in some way. Holy Spirit, we pray that You would intercede on their behalf with words that we cannot find to describe this sadness, but we know that the Lord works all things together for good for those who are called according to His purpose, and He has a purpose for each and every one of our lives. We ask these things in Jesus' Name, Amen.  (8 hrs ago | post #1)

Daniel 9:1-4

Daniel 9:1-4 (1) In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the lineage of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans— (2) in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. (3) Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. (4) And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made confession, and said, "O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, New King James Version When Daniel prayed this, Judah had been scattered for about 70 years, and they were just about ready to go back to the Promised Land. God was just about ready to release them. Daniel was concerned due to what he saw in Babylon; it discomforted him. He likely saw some of the same conditions existing in Babylon that had caused the Jews to go into captivity in the first place almost 70 years before. His fears were justified because, when Ezra and Nehemiah went back to rebuild the Temple and then the wall around Jerusalem, very few Jews went back. In fact, it was such a small number by Ezra's count that he called a fast about it. He wanted to make sure that the people would be hidden on the way so that nobody would see them making the trip back to Judea and consider them "easy pickings." When the church was finally begun in AD 31, Peter went to preach in Babylon because there was still such a large colony of Jews there. Indeed, they stayed in the world—in Babylon—and continued to multiply. We can read between the lines of Daniel's prayer and understand that he was anxious over their return. Quite a number of commentaries say that they feel that this cannot be all that Daniel prayed. Really, all that we have here is an outline of what he said, the high points. After praying it, Daniel went back to his office or to his home and jotted these things down so that they would be remembered. God undoubtedly inspired that. So we are actually seeing only the essence of what he said. He certainly went into a great deal more detail with God. When we pray for repentance, we go into detail about things that we personally know about—especially those things that happen in our lives and perhaps those things that happen within God's work, of which we were aware. We do nothing about them then, but we certainly can ask God to forgive them. Daniel begins by establishing between him and God that he, Daniel, understood that God is faithful. He keeps His covenant. He stands by Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. When something goes out of God's mouth, it does not come back to Him empty (Isaiah 55:11). There are no "hollow threats" with God! Do we understand that? His faithfulness is one of the things that makes Him God. He can always be depended upon. He is Jesus Christ—the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). "For I am the Lord, I do not change" (Malachi 3:6).  (8 hrs ago | post #1)

More resons why evolution is wrong!

21. Not only must there be the input from a greater intelligence in order to produce an increase in complexity and/or intelligence, that intelligence must have a preconceived plan of action. No master craftsman would start to build without first having a plan, a blueprint. 22. In order for evolution to be true atoms must form useful molecules such as enzymes, amino acids and proteins by random chance. It is mathematically impossible for these molecules, much less the far larger DNA molecule, to form by random action in nature. It cannot happen! 23. Natural selection and survival of the fittest are supposed to be the driving forces of progressive upward evolution. There are no selective benefits for a supposed transitional form. There would be no advantage for a creature to have a half-evolved eye or a half-evolved wing. Indeed, the existence of such structures would be detrimental and serve only to eliminate, not perpetuate, such disfigured organisms from a given population. 24. The presumed intermediates required by evolution do not exist. The missing links are missing because they are missing. Reptilian scales do not/cannot become feathers. These structures originate from different cells within the skin tissue. Reptilian lungs do not/cannot change to become avian (bird) lungs. Air flows in and out of reptilian lungs just as in humans. Bird lungs have a flow through design. 25. Living organisms are incredibly complex and have specific design features. In order to make this point please consider the following partial list: woodpecker tongue, Bombardier Beetle chemistry, insect metamorphosis, Giraffe heart and arterial system, Gecko feet and human eyes (or human brains for that matter). 26. Single-celled organisms such as bacteria, amoeba and algae have the same degree of complexity within them that multiple-celled organisms have within them. Single-celled organisms have a skeleton, respiratory system, digestion and elimination systems, circulatory system, reproductive system, command and communication system. 27. Life forms are irreducibly complex. To code for RNA production within a cell you must already have whole and complete DNA. To make DNA you must already have whole and complete RNA. In addition, it requires about 70 proteins to fabricate a DNA molecule, but you must have whole and complete DNA to fabricate those proteins. 28. When we see design we know that there is/was a designer. The human mind intrinsically knows the difference between randomness and design. When we see a plastic hair comb, one of the simplest structures ever designed and consisting of only one part, we know that it was designed and made through intelligent effort. A plastic hair comb does not come into existence by random chance. If we see three stones sitting on the bottom of a clear stream we know that they got there by the random action of the water current. If we see the same three stones piled up one on top of the other sitting on the bank of that stream we know that an outside intelligence placed them there. We see design throughout nature. For good health blood must clot when it gets outside the body, but must not clot inside the body. In addition, it must stop clotting and not continue to clot once exposed to the outside. The molecular motors which turn the cilia of cells look exactly like little electric motors complete with bearings, shaft and housing. Our bodies must make decisions to accept or reject foreign substances or our immunological system does not work. Our bodies must also manufacture effective countermeasures without killing us at the same time. 29. Charles Darwin stated that the existence of vestigial and retrogressive organs and structures in the human body were essential proofs of evolution. It has now been determined that there are NO vestigial or retrogressive organs or structures in a human body! 30. Evolutionary theories remain incapable of explaining the existence of sex, symbiosis or altruism.  (Yesterday | post #1)

Trials

The Lord in His providence had brought a trial upon Abraham to teach him lessons of submission, patience, and faith- lessons that were to be placed on record for the benefit of all who should afterward be called to endure affliction. God leads His children by away that they know not, but he does not forget or cast off those who put their trust in Him. He permitted trial to come upon Job, but He did not forsake him. He allowed the beloved John to be exiled to lonely Patmos, but the Son of God met him there, and his vision was filled with scenes of immortal glory. God permits trials to assail His people, that by their constancy and obedience they themselves may be spiritually enriched, and that their example may be a source of strength to others. The very trials that task our faith are to lead us closer to Christ, that we may experience the peace which He will give us in exchange. Remember, God has always tried His people in the furnace of affliction. It is in the heat of the furnace that the dross is separated from the true gold of the Christian character.  (Yesterday | post #1)

Prayer for today

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for loving us enough to chastise us when we have given into temptation and fallen into sin. We lift up a prayer for our brothers and sisters who are in need of conviction or a wake-up call. Holy Spirit, convict their hearts and let them see they are in need of daily time with You in the Word to stay close to You and bear good fruit. Prune them to do just that, Lord - bear fruits of the Spirit. Whether it takes getting caught in sin, being confronted, use what is necessary to get their attention to lead them to repentance and mold them more into the image of their Savior. Thank You, Lord, for Jesus, and for Your forgiveness. We are in need of Your direction and sometimes chastisement, for You are a wise and just parent, and You know best for Your children. We ask these things in Jesus' Name, Amen!  (Yesterday | post #1)

John 15:1-6

John 15:1-6 (1) "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. (2) Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (3) You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. (4) Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. (5) "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (6) If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. New King James Version John 15:1-6 deals with the productivity achieved in our lives after conversion begins. This teaching begins to make abundantly clear how much we need Him. Interestingly, what Jesus teaches in John 6 about being the bread of life—which also shows how much we need Him—occurred fairly early in His ministry. The exhortation here occurs at the end of His ministry, speaking to His disciples following His final Passover observance. He confirms that what the Father desires to be produced in our relationship cannot be produced apart from Christ. This passage is a final admonition for us to make every effort to remain "in" Him, not allowing what just happened with Judas to happen to us. By betraying His Savior, Judas abandoned the responsibility imposed by the New Covenant. Without Jesus paying the penalty for our sins, there would be no future except for death. Without it, there would be no looking forward to a joyous and productive life in the Kingdom of God. In fact, there would be no relationship at all. Without Him providing this for us, there would be no hope at all. Could we pay the penalty for sin and continue living? Understanding the symbolism Jesus used is helpful in grasping how much we need what Christ did and does.Paul writes in I Corinthians 11:23-24: For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." In John 6, bread plays an important role. It is frequently used as a metaphor for Christ Himself. I Corinthians 11 clearly ties bread, also named in John 13:18, to the giving of His body in the crucifixion. I Corinthians 11:25-26 adds: In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying. "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes. This second symbol is important to grasping what Christ teaches in John 15:1-6 correctly. The vine He speaks of is obviously the grape vine. He clearly states that He is the vine and that we are the branches attached to Him. Just as grapes can be produced only by a shoot that remains attached to the vine, we can produce spiritual fruit that pleases the Father and thus be in the Kingdom of God only if we remain attached to Jesus Christ. In this illustration, all nourishment that results in fruit must come from the vine. He not only pays the penalty of our sins, but He also supplies the spiritual nourishment to produce fruit that glorifies the Father and prepares us for life in God's Kingdom. John 8:31-32 reminds us that continuing in His Word is the key to knowing the truth and becoming free. This greatly enhances the production of fruit. Thus, if we fulfill our responsibility, we are in that sense in partnership with Him in performing our duties under the New Covenant. A wonderful additional benefit of remaining in Christ is that those who faithfully fulfill their roles are not gathered up and cast into the fire, as John 16:6 warns.  (Yesterday | post #1)

Reasons why evolution is wrong!

11. Nature does not provide us with the proof for the "Tree of Life" so glibly talked about by evolutionists. We do not find life starting as simple and then branching upward and outward as it becomes more and more complex. We do not find that life forms follow the pattern of a single tree trunk with many branches. The physical evidence provided by nature gives a picture of an extremely large orchard with all plant and animal types represented from the beginning with their own individual trunks and branches producing the variations within kinds that we have today, but no new kinds progressing from previous kinds. 12. There are no transitional forms found in the fossil record. In spite of all the reports people may have heard, we have never found the fossil of a plant or an animal which is a true intermediate form. The "missing links" are missing because they are missing. 13. Be wary of artists renderings. An artists depiction, conception or illustration is imaginary. Simply because we see an artists illustration of a cow becoming a whale doesn't make it so. Human desire and imagination are not evidence. 14. Ancient man was not primitive. Ancient human cultures had more complex languages than we do today. The engineering feats of the past cultures are well recognized and in some cases have not been duplicated in modern times. There never was a Stone Age, Bronze Age or Iron Age. Man has used stone, bronze and iron tools in all ages of past human activity. Indeed, there is nothing new under the sun. The observed Laws of Science contradict the various theories of evolution. 15. The law of Cause and Effect not only describes that for every effect there must have been a cause, it also tells us that the cause must be greater than the effect. No one can create anything greater than themselves. You do not get an increase in intelligence or complexity without the input from a greater intelligence. 16. The First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics work contrary to evolutionary belief. The First Law of Thermodynamics (The Law of Energy Conservation) proves that the universe cannot be the reason for its own existence. According to the First Law the universe cannot have been anything less than it is, and if it cannot have been anything less than it is, it had to come into existence whole and complete. If the universe came into existence whole and complete, then it had to be created. Simply adding energy to a system will not cause an increase in intelligence or complexity. The addition of undirected energy to a system accomplishes nothing, except possibly for the destruction of that system. The Second Law of Thermodynamics (The Law of Entropy) proves that evolution cannot happen. The Second Law stipulates (a poor attempt by scientists to describe The Curse of Genesis Chapter 3 and Revelation) that in all activities some of the energy becomes unavailable for further useful work. The universe is running down, not up. 17. The concept of a "Big Bang" producing the universe is absolutely illogical. Explosions do not produce ever increasing order and structure. Explosions produce disorder and chaos. Explosions break things down or destroy what was previously ordered. 18. There is no substantiated method in nature which would allow stars to be "born." The Gas Laws prove that the pressure of hot gases expanding outward from a center is far greater than the gravitational force drawing them towards a center. Stars could not evolve into existence. 19. The Law of Biogenesis (the Law of Life Beginnings) accurately states that life only comes from life, and that life only reproduces after its own kind. Life cannot spontaneously generate and life forms do not change from one kind into another kind. 20. The input of undirected energy accomplishes nothing. The input of undirected energy will destroy a system, not build it up. Only the input from a greater intelligence will cause a beneficial increase in order and/or complexity.  (Thursday | post #1)

John 3:17-19

John 3:17-19 KJV For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  (Thursday | post #1)

2 Thessalonians 1:1-12

2 Thessalonians 1:1-12 1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed. 11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.  (Thursday | post #1)

Prayer for today

Dear Heavenly Father, We come before You to ask for Your help as we "make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace," as we read in Scripture. We seek unity and pray that all contention and strife would end and that we would be able to "bear with each other and forgive grievances," as You have forgiven us, Lord (Colossians 3:13). We lift up a prayer on behalf of any church congregations around the world who are experiencing division or dissension. Please help an agreement to be reached, and let forgiveness be shared by all. We pray that we could "live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble," as 1 Peter 3:8 says. Your Word also says that to whom much is given, much will be expected. We have certainly been given a great deal of forgiveness, so how much more should we offer forgiveness freely to others! Please build congregations back up that seem to have fallen apart. Give leadership the wisdom and authority to make right and just decisions in according with Your will and Word, Lord. Let peace rule in our hearts and let forgiveness win. Help disagreements to be settled. We pray these things in Jesus' Name, for the unity of believers, Amen.  (Thursday | post #1)

Matthew 12:14

Matthew 12:14 (14) Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him. Mark 3:6 (6) Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. Luke 6:11 (11) But they were filled with rage, and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus. New King James Version The heart represents the seat of feeling and affection. For instance, one is said to be tenderhearted when easily affected by others' sufferings. A person may be affected by his own sin or, in contrast, by the love and commands of God. The Pharisees act, not with sorrowful indignation, but with ruthless, murderous hearts (Mark 3:6). While theirs were hardened, Jesus' heart ached. What a contrast! Here is illustrated the nadir of the Pharisees' hypocrisy. They policed Sabbath activities to ensure no one broke their human rules for keeping it, condemning those who did, while having no qualms about plotting Jesus' murder! They would allow the rescue of a sheep on the Sabbath but not the rescue—through healing—of a human being. God prophesies about the church: Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 11:19-20) The day will come when we will all have "a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water" (Hebrews 10:22). As the next verse encourages, "He who promised is faithful." He will create this clean heart in us as we follow the righteous example of His Son.  (Thursday | post #1)
