Good Night everyone, so many loving tributes to our beloved WIP, River, my heart goes out to you, I can clearly see your pain, plese tuck all your wonderful memories in your heart and let the email WIP sent you be of encouragement of the love she was all about. These mindless thoughtless posts are of no meaning, we need to just not give them what they are yearning for. Keep strong my friend and walk in the faith you have deeply embedded within o;k. As we lift our hands together and give thanks that her suffering is over and her joy begins. For those of us that really got to know her these past few months, we know she is at peace. In Loving Memory of WIP -- Thankyou for touching my life in such a profound way. I'm going to be looking for you with that glass of wine raised -- and we have a walk on a sandy beach in paradise one day, just you and I. Yes I agree , we will have much to talk about. Your journey here was short Darlin, but now it is everlasting for you. Deep within my heart I feel at peace in your passing, you handled this with so much poise and strength, I hope that kind of grace is with me when my time comes to leave. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to have gotten to know you this past year WIP, even thru the good and bad we seemed to have found a respect for one another that comes from maturity. My sincerest heartfelt love for your family and beloved boyfriend that you spoke so highly of. I hope they may find some comfort in reading what you menat to a lot of real people across this world, especially me. Wheezy I tell you I look like a racoon, of all days for me to wear eye makeup tee hee. And that tee hee is for Wip. She would understand !! I'm about to start my second year on Topix Wheezy and what a year it has been. But if you don't mind my saying so again: It is you and X that taught me that we can walk back to back and yet hand in hand. If I could leave one good memorial saying for Wip it would be that keeping an open mind and practicing this walk with posters leads to a better understanding of each other. I believe she left us on her terms, she didn't want any of the mushy stuff -- To have her boyfriend post us like he did, was so like her. Hi John, Your poem is just lovely. I'm still kinda in shock, I knew her time was growing near but not this near. She left some endearing thoughts to some and with that just shows at her last day what a beautiful person she was. Hawaii will forever be in my memory of a beautiful young woman with so much to give. My Loving Memory of Wip: Thankyou so much for leaving me with this thought: Granny: Keep that new opening mind of yours, it's a good thing. I'll have the wine waiting. My last post to Wip was on page 1167 post 23614, and then I was off for the weekend. I didn't see any response from her but with what she left me, I know that she read it. It's no secret to anyone that Wip and I shared many differences, but thru many months of sharing with her, I came to admire her strentgth and stand for what she believed in. If there is one thing she left me with it is an open mind and learning about other cultures and faiths. Many walks of life that need to be recognized. It is my sincerest hope that when my time comes I will see her standing with that glass of wine held high -- She wasn't just an adversary to me, she grew within my heart -- I truly am going to miss her and I hope I'm one of many to keep her beautiful memory alive in these rooms. My heartfelt condolences go to her family and her beloved boyfriend that she spoke so highly of. May all find some comfort in knowing she meant a great deal to many of us -- especially me. In loving memory for WIP, I stand in a long line of posters that truly thought the world of this young woman. I'm hoping with all my heart that we share in that glass of wine one day, and that we get to take that walk on a sandy beach shore. What a loving thing for her to do leaving postings as one of her last things to do. I hope that many of us were a comfort to her as she shared her last days with us. I will miss this dear woman and I will cherish the debates as I feel each of us grew from them. I pray she found the peace she was seeking and hope her family and boyfriend that she spoke so highly of can find peace in the coming time ahead for him.
