Joining the French Foreign Legion

So I've come to a part in my life, where I am seriously contemplating on joining the French Foreign Legion. Why you might ask me, is it because I have a dark past that I'm running away from or maybe am I a blood thirsty lunatic who loves the thrill of the fight. Do I have self destructive/suicid al tendencies who have just shown themselves now, to join a force which enforces a spartan like life style and who sees more war and blood than any other- Why would I join, what could I possibly gain from it. Nothing, and everything. The fact that I may be based in Djibouti is another bonus too.  (Aug 28, 2012 | post #1)

somali girls always want to marry a guy frm ogaden tribes

hmm, do they still have those fertile ears and shake their arses when they hear the bootylicious song by Destinys child? "I don't think you are ready for this jelly, I don't think you are ready for this jelly". Long live a tribe/people that will move their derrière when they this tune.  (Jun 23, 2012 | post #24)

Where& how a girl can find a good Somali husband

Marry the person you are most compatible with, do not take race or ethnicity into consideration. Maybe you can't find a "good" somali husband because there isn't any in your are that fit your definition of what "good" is. Either way be open minded and date marry who ever you have a connection with regardless of race or creed :).  (Jun 21, 2012 | post #4)

Somali Atheists/Agnostics in this forum

@chocomatte I don't understand where this notion of my perceived arrogance shows in my posts. Also I stated that I was advocating as the devils advocate. I like debating with you. I do enjoy it, cherished every word and savoured every sentence you wrote. You seem to be able to hold your own in a debate. I could list the holes in the post you put forth. I won't though. There isn't a single ounce in my being who now wishes to speak against you. I am pleasantly surprised by the last post you made and now wish to make you an offer. I wish to get to know you in person (hope that you are a girl). This is not a joke nor do I speak in jest on a issue such as this one. I've been on this forum for a few days and I am genuinely intrigued by you. You asked me if I had a religious background. I did I grew up in a muslim home like most somalis. I'll tell you the rest if you do want to speak to me outside of this forum, before the other forum members mistake this post for a declaration of love instead of a genuine interest I'll stop rambling and let you make a choice. If the answer is yes message me if its a no please do publicly humiliate me and say no on the next post after this. For the whole world to see :) (also say no if you are a dude :) lol).  (Jun 21, 2012 | post #107)

Some knowledge that would benefit the community :D

Some members of our community feel marginalised, face police harrassment and in some extreme cases police brutality. Our community is by and large one that does uphold the law, though we are some of the most discriminated against. The Met police has been described as a "instutionall y racist" force. This should not come as news to you. Stop and searches are rampant in our community. I'm sure you have heard stories of family memebers or acquaintances being stopped and searched. By knowing the law you know your rights. Thus challenge and stand up for one self.  (Jun 21, 2012 | post #4)

Failed asylum seekers: accommodation. Under Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 These are the rights given to failed asylum seekers. Many do not know their rights and thus fail to enforce them (eg put in detention centers instead of hostels). (1)At the end of section 4 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (provision of accommodation for failed asylum seekers, &c.) add— . “(5)The Secretary of State may make regulations specifying criteria to be used in determining— . (a)whether or not to provide accommodation, or arrange for the provision of accommodation, for a person under this section; . (b)whether or not to continue to provide accommodation, or arrange for the provision of accommodation, for a person under this section. . (6)The regulations may, in particular— . (a)provide for the continuation of the provision of accommodation for a person to be conditional upon his performance of or participation in community activities in accordance with arrangements made by the Secretary of State; . (b)provide for the continuation of the provision of accommodation to be subject to other conditions; . (c)provide for the provision of accommodation (or the continuation of the provision of accommodation) to be a matter for the Secretary of State’s discretion to a specified extent or in a specified class of case. .  (Jun 21, 2012 | post #3)

@ Cooler than Cool Behave yourself sir, you should ashamed of yourself. To utter those words at a lady "sharmuuto " where has your manners gone?. I do understand that you feel that your religion has been offended by some members off this forum. This however gives you no excuse to use the language you just did. Now apologise to hooyo and behave as a man should, with integrity, honour and dignity. OSFB Kamihamihaa!  (Jun 21, 2012 | post #99)

I love trolls, being a weirdly odd person myself I adore talking BS to them. They in turn reply to me. Where as ordinary folk perceive me to be a troll and ignore me. I may never be able to give her a cookie but I do agree with this troll though.  (Jun 20, 2012 | post #37)
