Wow! Learn to read. I said in my post that the Declaration of Independence states that rights are endowed by "our Creator." The Constitution does not grant rights. It was designed to outline what rights the government cannot take away. I never wrote that God wrote the Constitution. Dummy.  (May 26, 2010 | post #19)

Obviously you can't read. My post was in response to someone who basically said that high ratings for a pundit made that pundit correct and that low ratings for a pundit made said pundit wrong. I know how ratings work, but thanks for the information.  (May 26, 2010 | post #4012)

Your statement here displays the ridiculousness of those who follow Fox News (the entertainment company, just ask Beck!): Ratings do NOT mean jack crap when it comes to truth. In short, Ratings do not make right. Laughing at ratings shows just how disconnected from reality you are. How can you possibly use ratings as justification for anything other than where to spend advertising dollars? It's statements like this that make CEOs jump for joy. "Wanna sell more of our products? Just tell folks the product is the most popular! The product doesn't have to be any good, just popular."  (May 23, 2010 | post #3814)

The Truth Behind The Oklahoma Tea Party

To the Right-Wing Fringe: Until you stop claiming to be a Consitutionist yet want to limit religious freedom for all, and stop claiming to follow Jesus while prefering greed to charity and war to peace, and stop claiming to want government out of your lives yet want a Constitutional amendment outlawing gay marriage, and st...op decrying the absence of the Pledge of Allegiance in schools while seeking to keep "liberty and justice" FROM all, stop claiming you're not a racist while carrying placards with Pres. Obama in a witch doctor's outfit, stop screaming about "socialized medicine" but don't want Medicare touched or have had to use Medicaid or other assistance in your lifetime, until then, shut your hypocritical, anti-American, false Christian mouth. The rational world doesn't want to hear it.  (May 23, 2010 | post #453)

I constantly hear folks lobbying for enacting the same laws in America that Mexico has. However, I never hear these people saying that we should enact the laws of Canada, or Vietnam, or any other countries from which we receive illegal immigrants. The ire is always aimed at the Mexicans, and perhaps that's because the Mexicans are the most visible. Additionally, I never hear that we should enact the economic policies of those countries that may have unfair trade policies, such as Japan. Perhaps, one thing to keep in mind is that this is the United States and not Mexico, Canada, Vietnam or Japan. We're different. Most would argue that we're better. Vindictive legislation has been passed in our past, but often gets overturned or repealed because that's not who we are. We've long been an open country that has held fast to our ideals of "liberty and justice for ALL" and not just us. Those who say the Constitution does not give rights to illegals has never read the Declaration of Independence which states that ALL rights are endowed by a Creator. This belief is inherent in our form of government. This should not be forgotten, nor should it be given away in the face of emotional selfishness.  (May 23, 2010 | post #12)

What does Brown change? Nearly everything for Dems

What newspapers are you reading? Pres. Obama did not do any of these things you mentioned. If you would actually learn something you would see that he has been playing Go with the Republicans. In 2 speeches he has boxed them into being against positions they have traditionally held, made them look like schoolyard children when they chose to back away from THEIR OWN BILLS just because the president supported them in their efforts, and got them to actually go against tax cuts. That's freaking hilarious!  (Feb 5, 2010 | post #9)

Well, that makes all of Palin's gaffes better then, doesn't it? I love the childish "Well he did it too" arguments as an excuse for incompetence or mediocrity. It is NO excuse. Period.  (Feb 4, 2010 | post #2551)

YOU are the one who started the name-calling, and YOUR ilk just lies. I'm not the one who's hating, you are. Look back on the posts and read what I wrote and how you responded. You attack. I defend. Trying to say otherwise is yet another lie. And I hope you guys do vote the way you feel. At least you would be doing something instead of just whining on a forum. Additionally, when you see what YOUR candidates do once in office, you'll get to whine again, but you won't have any justification for your whining. YOU and your ilk will have been the ones to put them there, and you will have to lie in that bed once you've made it.  (Feb 2, 2010 | post #86)

OK, well, first of all the line was going from Tulsa down to Houston, not just OKC. Secondly, take some anger management classes. They'll help you live longer. I know you have residual, pent-up aggressions because of those people who beat you up in grade school those many times, but it's time to move forward with your life. And although you would never admit it publicly, it's okay to go see a urologist about your "little" problem and see what he or she can do to help you feel better about yourself.  (Jan 30, 2010 | post #62)

Yes, I did notice the disclaimer, however the article is extremely well referenced and based on the tacit fact checking I did, seems to bear our factually.  (Jan 30, 2010 | post #2355)

Legislation offers scholarships for students with autism,...

You gotta hand it to these two Republicans. This is good legislation. I've never worked with Rep. Nelson, but I've worked Sen. Anderson. He always struck me as more reasonable and level-headed than some of his colleagues. Let's just hope Nick's Law gets some legs this year.  (Jan 29, 2010 | post #2)

I'm not sure I agree. I think the fact that we are so spread out in the states is a firm justification for improving light-rail access. I think it would at least allow for greater opportunities in ways that the highway system has.  (Jan 29, 2010 | post #42)
