School drug deal leads to overdose

Let me see if I understand what you are saying. "They made a mistake and took too much." Are up saying that it is fine to take prescription drugs that are not yours as long as you don't take to much? "Parents need to give them what they need to make school alot better." With your way of thinking, I am so happy you are not my daughter. Do you give your kids "what they need"? Lady, you need some real mental health help. I can only hope you don't have kids.  (Nov 2, 2010 | post #13)

OSU to play Kansas State without Blackmon

I just wonder is "I'm a man, I'm 40" Gumby would pass out the same punishment if this had been a walk on or a 3rd or 4th string guy. I would bet that person would no longer be part of OSU football. But Blackmon is a stater and Gumby knows he would have a hard time winning without him. And Yes, I meant to type "Gumby" rather than Gundy. Does anyone else find it odd that he would not "comment " on where he got the tickets to the game?  (Oct 28, 2010 | post #2)

OSU football player arrested for DUI

The question I have is this. Where did he, Blackmon, get the tickets to the game? One report I read stated that he was a guest of Dez Bryant. If that is correct there may be a NCAA violation there. Along the same lines as when Dez was working out with Deon Sanders. As for those who ask about what his blood level was, it does not matter. In Texas, if you are underage and driving, and the presence of alcohol is detected it is a DUI. I love how OSU fans are defending this guy. Hey, as long as he is catching the ball and putting points on the board then let him drink and drive. Let him put not only his life but others as well at risk driving over 90MPH at 3:30 AM. I wonder how many team rules he broke? But you can bet Mr. "I'm 40, I'm a man" Gundy will let him slide so he can help win games.  (Oct 27, 2010 | post #28)

Crash kills birthday girl; children & driver survive

"The Mickiala Clayborn Fund has been set up at Bank of the West to assist with burial expenses." If this family is so big, as the story stated, why can't they pay for their own burial expenses. Just someone else wanting everyone else to foot the bill. Why am I not surprised.  (Aug 20, 2010 | post #43)

Plane thought to be carrying 8 passengers crashes in sout...

The story said that Stevens was the "most revered politician in Alaska history." If the writer is not careful he will be called out by Sarah the, I don't want to be governor any more so I can make more money, Palin.  (Aug 11, 2010 | post #2)

State Fair Arena ceiling collapse

Because of Mick and the horse people, the arena will be fixed. That you can bank on. I am not sure why they can not afford to fix anything out there. My company has a space at the fair every year. In the last few years we have gone from paying $5,000 for our space to now paying over $18,000. Who would have thought the price of standing on dirt would go up so much in such a short period of time.  (Jul 31, 2010 | post #6)

Flood victims fear they will not get help

I have a hard time understanding people sometimes. You buy a house, knowing it is in an area that could flood. You decide not to spend the money to buy flood insurance. Then cry about not getting free help when you get flooded. I wonder if we will ever get back to when people are responsible for themselves and don't expect someone else to bail them out.  (Jul 10, 2010 | post #5)

Free health care clinic in OK

It must s/u/c/k to be you. I work 54 hours a week, my wife work 35 hours a week. Neither one of our companies offer health insurance. It would cost us in the neighborhood of $1600 a month for insurance, due to our age. We draw not one penny from anyone. Sorry to bust your bubble, but this is a good thing for us. OH by the way, I am as white as a bowl of rice.  (Jul 9, 2010 | post #10)

Elderly woman veers off road killing construction workers

My questions are these. How fast was this lady going? Why did she leave the road? And IF and I repeat, IF, speed and/or lack of attention were to blame, why have charges not been filed?  (Jul 2, 2010 | post #24)

Construction deaths on the rise

That means the only drivers on the road would be 26 to 64. Which would mean 38 years of driving. The rest of your years, before 26 and after 65 would be walking, riding with someone of age, or mass transit. But that might be a good idea. Less fuel, fewer cars on the road. Those not of legal age would have less insurance cost, no car payments. Lets get the ball rolling and pass a law to this effect. Only people from 26 to 65 can drive.  (Jul 2, 2010 | post #8)

Construction deaths on the rise

Just wondering what would be the age limit for older drivers? In reading the stats, drivers over the age of 65 are the second most likely to die in a accident. 17-25 is the number one age group. So using your logic, lets keep drivers off the road until they are at least 26. Would that work for you?  (Jul 2, 2010 | post #7)

OKC happy Big 12 stays together

It is my understanding that this is still the Big XII through 2011 or 2012. So for this coming year there will still be a championship game.  (Jun 16, 2010 | post #7)
