Sarah Palin: Obama Has It 'Backassward' on EconomyFmr. Gov tell...

When you state the pilots risk their lives you are building up the risk into something that it is not. More pilots die on roads every year just like the rest of us. The point on bush and Cheney, they both "supported " the war and neither went to the war. Gore and Kerry both "supported " the war at one time and both went to see what it was about. Kerry decided he did not like it and said so. Clinton did not support the war and stated that. I will take a guy who goes to war and decides he does not like it, or a guy that is honest and up front and says he does not like it over almost anyone that is eligable, says they are for a war but they have better things to do.  (Wednesday | post #1196)

Because the left has no need to watch MSNBC or any other news that goes left. It is the right that has a need to be told what to think and say. With the economy improving, a strategy in place in Afghanistan, the drawdown continueing in Iraq we may be more forking popular than you think. This is particularly true as the birthers and Tea Bag people continue their march.  (Wednesday | post #880)

No, what you had was a lack of sense. The attack at Ft. Hood could have been stopped while bush was president, if he had kept us safe. On the other hand he sealed the border with Mexico keeping extremists from entering our country that way......oh wait, I apologize. That is what I wanted him to do and I would like Obama to do it as well.  (Wednesday | post #1389)

The Republican Party is out until it begins to come back to the middle. If you think McCain was to far left, and you are any way representative of the Republican Party, you have a long term problem. Corrupted by Soros? Heck, bush was so bad he had T. Boone Pickens (bankrolled the swiftboaters) going Democrat. Honestly, the Republican Party needs to attack today's problems with policies incorporating conservative idea's. Take SS: 1. Increase qualifying quarters from 40 - 80. (Slowly over time) 2. Increase minimum age just like they did the maximum by two years. If they did it now, it would catch me (I would have to wait until 63.5 to retire instead of 62) but the longterm viability is more important than me. 3. Means test, start reducing benefits when a couple has $100K in income from all sources and have it disappear somewhere between $200 - 250K.  (Wednesday | post #1388)
