Wha r u going to report stout was attacking a person who thought the arson shouldn't be investigated. I think you r pointing to the wrong party. By the way the last I checked there is still a 1st amendment, (sorry, let me dumb that down for you!) that means as long as you aren't harming anotherperson, you can basically say what you want. 1.It's kind of hard to go o town hall meetings, when they aren't held in unincorporated towns. 2. I don't think common people can easily draft a formal petition, or afford the attorney's fee t have one made up. 3. The Prosecutors know many policemen on the social level. 4. I hadn't heard about recent elections for the state police. NOW WHAT? They do what they want, atleast here on Cabin Creek. I was personally pulled over by the KCS 5 times since I began writing and editing for this site without being given so much as a warning. I don't know why I am being targeted! Stout, don't believe everything that you hear. It has been told to me by one source that the school only has a camera at two entrances, and they are both away from the area where the fire was set. The security system, however, has motion detectors. I'm not sure if they work through a service or if they go straight to 911, if they pick something up. As far as them knowing who did it, I know your source and that info is questionable. I have also heard that the same "suspect ", is actually running from there own friends, because they turned them in for dealing. I am sure the truth will come out about all that in due time. I really hate that it has come to this in our community. It is as bad as it has ever been here and I wouldn't have said that a few months ago. It makes you question your decision to stay here, when you are in a place where you can come home and find only a pile of ashes. Even with all the arson in the past, there wasn't such gaul, as to burn a public building. It makes you wonder what will be next. I personally think that whoever is responsible, should be severely punished, because this is all our kids have. It may not be a lot, but it is all we've got and we need to protected it. I wonder if now the board of education will install tougher security, so it won't be as easy to get away with breaking in and vandalizing our school. Because you guys know that this isn't the first time that the school has been broken into in recent years. I don't understand why it has been lacking up until now! I sencerly hope to see things change for the better in our community, but at times like these it makes it seem almost impossible to ever see things turn around. (Jul 11, 2007 | post #2)
You are right, this is a place for everyone to voice their opinion and I am glad to heard all sides, I didn't mean to get down on anyone, in that respect. I really want to see this site help the community, though. I was having a bad day, lol. If you guys want to put some effort in lets see what we can do to help. I know that here, in Ohley, I am in the process of getting one abandon house torn down, by UKVEC and hope to see more abandon homes demolished. They are a haven for people out to do the wrong thing be it drugs, vilence or arson. I would like to see the community cleaned up. Let's get some ideas together. You guys help me out. I edit this site, and I have decided not to edit anyone's comments, because I believe in free speech. So, get your comments in here, I know I want to hear them and so do a lot of other people.
