i asked around about this and found the law actually stated 32% is the limit. its for officer safety, so they can see in your car and know who they approach and what they are doing. "surprise, the suspect has a gun" happens to be among the law enforcements least favorite games. (Mar 6, 2009 | post #31)

so you would condemn them to not socializing at a bar with friends ever because you cant take twenty steps to the closest door and smoke outside? what makes you so important? the fact that these bans are in place and do get approved shows that you are not quite as special as you seem to believe. apparently non-smokers are quite important, in lawmakers eyes.
