from Wikipedia: ""Negro " superseded "colored " as the most polite terminology, at a time when "black" was more offensive.[3] This usage was accepted as normal, even by people classified as Negroes, until the later Civil Rights movement in the late 1960s. One well-known example is the identification by Martin Luther King, Jr. of his own race as 'Negro' in his famous 1963 speech I Have a Dream. The term "Negro" is still used in some historical contexts, such as in the name of the United Negro College Fund[6][7] and the Negro league in sports. The United States Census Bureau announced that "Negro" would be included on the 2010 United States Census, alongside "Black" and "African-Amer ican" because some older Black Americans still self-identify with the term.[8][9][10] " No racism intended, nor apologies offered. It is hard to be racist when one is not Caucasian and consequently a victim of racism. Appropriate terminology? The crime was premeditated murder. In the civilian world that is 1st degree murder, punishable by death in most conservative states. Workplace violence is a misdemeanor. As to the joke of the UCMJ . . . . no comment. PBO is a murderer, as well, having murdered American citizens by his own hand. He has aided the enemy by assisting the MB to gain power and donating taxpayer money to their cause. That is treason, pure and simple, punishable by death, if charged and convicted. Waging war against sovereign nations without approval of congress is a crime against the Constitution and yet more treason. Is this how a commander in chief of a once powerful country is defined? I too wonder about a lot of things these days.  (Oct 20, 2012 | post #724)

Maybe Et-lana won't burn after all. . . "* No — black people are not going to riot when Barack Obama loses. Black people have pretty much given up on this guy, mainly because of the fact he didn’t deliver on his promises to them but also a lot of them see that he’s gay and don’t like that and also don’t like the gay marriage “stuff” he was “talking about a lot this year”. * No — there’s not a snowball’s chance in Hell that blacks will vote Republican this year because they will NOT vote against Obama. They will instead sit home. ”He didn’t help me, so I ain’t helping him!” is the motto this year. Count on black turnout to be at 2004 levels, not 2008 numbers the way the corrupt media is baking into all those polls that get conservatives worked up where they show Obama leading. Without blacks voting at 2008 numbers, Obama loses Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia with no hope of making up those numbers with other groups. It’s as simple as that." http://hillbuzz.or g/prominent-member s-of-chicago-black -community-confirm -those-closest-to- obama-know-there-i s-no-second-term-c oming-42773  (Oct 19, 2012 | post #720)

how are jurors choosen in blairesville!!!!

I have been given an advance copy of a political ad to appear in the NGN this week. Apparently it is a piece on what the grand jury isn't. The (citizen’s) Grand Jury Did you Know? We the People caused a Constitution to be established for the United States of America and therefore We are ultimately responsible for assuring compliance with this wonderful document that created the unique experiment of governance as a Constitutional Republic. One of the ways We do this is through our Grand Juries. Justice Scalia says that the Grand Jury is the fourth branch of government. Why did he say that? But did you Know? Grand juries have been co-opted and corrupted by the judiciary and, where they still exist, are nothing more than a rubber stamp and arm of the state. The standing joke is: “The DA could indict a ham sandwich.” A really sick joke, at best. Do you Know? The power granted to the Grand Jury by the Constitution is awesome. The Georgia Constitution, for instance, mandates that jurors be: “ . . the judges of the law and the facts.” Why would they not, the law is for them and they were responsible for creating the law? Did you Know? Amendment V says: “No person shall be held to answer for a . . . infamous crime, unless on a presentment . . .of a Grand Jury. What is a “Presentment”? A presentment is a list of “findings” given to the district attorney for prosecution. Where do the findings come from? They come from any source; from a citizen, from a juror, and include any information that finds its way under the juror’s nose. The jury does the investigation with resources allowed by Georgia law (OCGA’s). Did you ever have information that the Grand Jury needed to investigate? Do you Know? The primary responsibility of a juror is to: “Vote his or her conscience”. Where did the notion of: “Ignorance of the law is no excuse”, come from? Who knows, and who cares, it isn’t law! Would you; and the other jurors find a person guilty of breaking an obscure and archaic law of which you, yourselves, would have no knowledge? No? Vote your conscience. You must acquit! Did you Know? Amendment VI says: “ . . . the accused shall enjoy the right to a . . . trial, by an impartial jury . . .” So when the DA sits in on your jury proceedings you have to say: “Excuse me, you represent the state and we sit on behalf of the citizens. Your presence violates the 5th Amendment mandates for an impartial jury. Please excuse yourself.” And finally, did you Know? You can go to jail for judging the law and perhaps for tossing the DA out of your jury chambers. How can this be? This is so because the judiciary has made “laws” that allow this corruption and We have allowed them to do it. Consider a Viet Nam veteran who swore an eternal Oath to defend the Constitution. What would ten days of three hots and a cot in the county slam be like to what was endured in the jungles? Easy duty! Are you a veteran, if so stand up for the Constitution next time you are on jury duty? Why wouldn’t you, as a citizen do the same? The veteran put his life on the line so you could. There are no caveats in the Constitution. Rules, protocols, and memorandums from the bench do not change the law. Rules do not trump the law. Legislation from the bench is against the law! However, the long road to reclaiming the Citizen’s Grand Jury, for the citizens, must start with establishing impartiality. We hope that in the near future Georgia will stop choosing the jury pool. It was unconstitutional and is now prevented by a law that went into effect in July. And We hope that the November elections, and future elections, will either change attitudes or replace personnel, whereby a juror can vote his conscience without fear of retribution. The Citizen’s Grand Jury is truly the citizen’s venue of last resort for redress of grievances. Consider this, next time you are called to do your civic duty.  (Oct 8, 2012 | post #56)

Mack Mason Plays Ugly

"A change from a drunk sherriff (sic) and the riff raff of deputies Scott has now ." It has never been substantiated that the Sheriff is a drunk and the deputies that serve under him are not riff raff. Accusing the deputies of the hypothetical behavior of their boss is counter productive. The deputies put their life on the line daily and work for substandard wages. Why not address the issues? Has the sheriff managed the department in a productive way? Can Mack Mason do better? Is the current budget realistic? Will Mason budget efficiency and elevate the deputies salaries to a living wage? Is zoning the county a better method of protecting the citizens? If the current sheriff is reelected will he adopt this method? Will Mason be a constitutional sheriff following the laws of the U.S and Georgia constitutions? The current sheriff is not and does not.  (Oct 7, 2012 | post #336)

forced to plead guilty to a crime you did not commit???

A young women was sentenced to 22 years for premeditated murder in the Monroe County, TN court "system" last week. Jessica was a petty criminal in Monroe County and represented by a public defender. She was convicted of murdering Jim Miller, the chair of the county election board. Miller was getting ready to blow the whistle on the corruption in Monroe county. Miller was murdered in gang land assassination style; two shots to the back of the head, placed in the trunk of his Crown Vic and then set on fire. Jessica is five feet tall, 110 lbs. Miller was big man. First person testimony was given to the TBI and FBI, identifying the hit men. First person testimony was given to the Sweetwater, TN PD as to the location of the dumpster that the hit men used to dispose of their crime scene clothing. Judicial corruption is an epidemic in the southern Appalachians, as it is elsewhere! If you are indigent and get in the "system" , you are going to jail.  (Oct 7, 2012 | post #7)

Olens has some real issues he needs to address with SOS Kemp. Kemp has violated Georgia election laws, but so far Olens has been reluctant to do an investigation. However on this go around he will be reminded that he is investigating a State Representative (another elected officer in the state) as he is required to do. The reason for this post being here is that the Peoples last recourse rests in the grand jury. If We don't take back the grand jury from the state We have no other place to turn; obviously appealing to Olens for redress is like talking to the wall. Please, everyone who has gotten an acceptable, or any, response from our local Representative post their experiences here. :-) And yes, the Declaration of Independence and 2nd Amendment is an avenue, but one that is absolutely unthinkable and avoidable if folks stand up.  (Oct 5, 2012 | post #48)

Obama stumbling

"Poll shows 69% say Pres Obama cares about their needs and problems - up from 53% before debate." This is a very important point if you are supporting Obama light. The folks who take the EBT cards and free cell phones and other free s#%t don't generally watch debates and as long as the free [email protected] keeps rolling in they are good. But the down side, or up side, depending on whether you back the communist or the fascist is that those folks don't generally vote!  (Oct 4, 2012 | post #26)

The magic key: "Apparently, for this Republican House, it was more important that Obama become a one term President than to look out for the general welfare of the nation. Beyond that, we will muddle thru." And it was more important for the Democrat House to pass Obamacare while the economy tanked. Everyone is chasing minutia when the real deal is that the parties have melded. We have one big omnipotent Demopublican party made up of two halves neither of which give a fig for the citizens. They are for themselves, their personal welfare, and fortunes. Regardless of whether Obama or Obama light gets elected we are in for four more years of puffing, posturing, and gridlock. And in 2016 the USA will be no different than any other third world country. Don't cry for me, Argentina!  (Oct 2, 2012 | post #39)
