How much of an idiot do you think Keith Ballard feels like right now? Defintly a clip to check out. Also, time to suspend Ovechkin, dirty player and he showed it again tonight. Multiple knee-on-knee collisions initiated by Ovechkin over the last couple years. I like that he plays with an edge, but now its getting ridiculous, he is rarely called on it when he crosses that line. Now it bites him in the @$$. Always sad to see a player injured, but I bet Sergei Gonchar is feeling at least a little smug right now (Monday Nov 30 | post #5383)
Rangers should have beat up on the Panthers but we'll take 2 points any way we can. Parenteua has been really good, he should stay up with the big club for the rest of the year. Next game vs Tampa, this is a game where the Rangers need to be more defensive minded in stopping Lecavlier, St. Louis, and Stamkos. Hopefully Torts remembers some of their tendencies and shuts them down. Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving, hope you enjoy it with whoever you spend the holidays with. Good to see this team explode for some offense. When Prospal and Gaborik are the only ones scoring goals and everyone else is not this team will not win. If Komisarek signed for less then 4.4M then maybe I wouldnt mind having him. But this team, if needed, can make a move with the prospects they have. Defense has obviously been the problem so far, if the team does make a move (little early) then they should get a physical dman. Or a more physical forward, really like Cal Clutterbuck. At this point I would consider calling up Grachev, he isnt the best guy on the Wolfpack but I would just see if he can score a couple of goals on the big club. Washington is just a better team then the Rangers, Washington is one of the best teams in the league. Defense just needs to get a little better. (Wednesday Nov 18 | post #5349)

I agree with you 100%. I dont want Forsberg either, but thats the rumor right now. Rangers finally win one, they should just keep Parenteau up, he is second in the AHL in scoring, some of that magic should rub off on the Rangers. (Sunday Nov 15 | post #5329)
As much as I hate to say it, dont be surprised if Forsberg signs this weekend. He is supposedly meeting with Sather. I thought for sure the Rangers wouldnt express any interest in this guy. I do think the Rangers need to get a physical dman. I would not mind trading Sanguinetti, Sauer or Heikkenen and maybe another lower prospect to get a dman. (Saturday Nov 14 | post #5323)
They should put Parenteau in at least, he has been good in the AHL. The Rangers defense needs to be on tonight, despite missing Kovalchuk they still need to shut down and Antropov and Afinogenov. The Rangers have the edge with offense, which they need to get going and goaltending. Not good to lose to a team like Atlanta when your next opponents are Ottawa and Washington.
