SummerGrove is no longer a jewel but a "COW PATTY"

88 notices. We pay cma and the pm a whole lot of money and all the pm can muster is 88 notices? That's shameful. The next question...are we getting what we are paying for?  (Apr 17, 2013 | post #977)

I have to agree with DartBoard. Isn't it part of the PM's job to drive the neighborhood to address violations? I understand help from residents. But at what point is she MADE to do her job? Doesn't she get paid to do that. I drove over there. If I were a neighbor I would be livid. I noticed several other yards in that area that are almost as bad. That area really looks neglected in many ways.  (Apr 8, 2013 | post #911)

I read somewhere that loose lips, sinks ships. Let's just say Jim Graser is overly proud of that endeavor. You may have your facts wrong, I may have my facts wrong, or we may be talking about two different things. My understanding was there was a proposal from a board member to extend the walking path from the Belltree Circle playground to the school. A partial path on the SummerGrove side is present and stops at the property line. But the school wanted no part of it as it would require additional personnel to monitor it. The school had to ensure the safety of those kids that may use it. Personally, I think it is a waste of time and effort. It would be one more thing to keep up and let's face it kids don't walk or ride bikes to school any more. It is also my understanding that the developer of that neighborhood tried to enlist additional investors and one caveat was to build a connecting road from the neighborhood to connect to Highwoods Parkway. The developer presented his proposal at an HOA meeting. In that meeting Jim Graser was all for it. If I recall, he thought it would be good for SummerGrove residents to use to get back and forth to the school. I disagree. People would use it as a cut-through. The point where the road would connect to Highwoods Parkway is a curve. Residents that live there are always complaining of speeding there already. So it makes no sense to add more traffic.  (Apr 8, 2013 | post #910)

So you believe Jim Graser is a keeper? He is the one that spearheaded changing from an HOA to a POA. A POA severely redirects & diminishes the leverage of power from the homeowners to the association. Who runs the association? The board and the pm. Enough said! Keep in mind all this happened in private, behind closed doors. Keep Jim Graser? Jim Graser is the one that wants the failed neighborhood next to Newnan Crossing Elementary to be linked to SummerGrove via a new road that would dump into Highwoods Parkway adding more traffic to an already busy road.  (Apr 8, 2013 | post #907)

Childish, ignorant, crazy, immature, uneducated, repulsive and dim-witted are words I would use to describe the person from Carrollton, who now calls him/herself Victor. These are also words used to describe Board members. Put the two together. Is it possible we have a "catfish " scenario going on here? This person always seems to derail the topic. Smells like a Cindy tactic. Your comments show your ignorance. The developer is hardly laughing all the way to the bank. The developer is wallowing in their own tears and almost bankrupt. "The builder"? Which one? There are many, many builders that have built in SummerGrove. Unfortunately most have filed bankruptcy or closed shop. So your comments are based loosely on your warped sense of reality.  (Mar 28, 2013 | post #892)

I was wondering if anyone “in the know” can answer this question. I do know one or more current board members actively checks out and participates on this site, I believe someone from the covenant committee checks out and participates on this site as well so maybe they can weigh in too. Are regular and frequent community drives being conducted by the pm? Are frequent drives being conducted by the committee? The reason I’m asking is with all of the rain and unusually warm weather the past few weeks the weeds are exploding in many lawns. You can tell the lawns that are treated on a regular basis and those that spot treat on occasion. Second, I see more and more trash bins being left at the side of garages and on driveways completely visible from the street. There appears to be no attempt to conceal them at all. I believe this is what the Whoop Miester has suggested in many previous posts. These problems appear to be getting out of hand. All the talk about the problems that would arise because the Board did not and does not enforce the covenants has apparently come to fruition.  (Feb 28, 2013 | post #830)
