A Look At Key Moments In Arizona Governor's Career

If Arizona would just get their governmental structure in order and have a Lt. Governor position the secretary of state wouldn't be clueless and thrown into office when the president appoints the elected governor to his cabinet.  (Feb 28, 2014 | post #3)

Ill. House Approves Legalizing Same-Sex Civil Unions

It was in the context of generalized profanities towards gays, I never said you said any of those words or protested at funerals. I get your reality is supreme but it's still a heliocentric solar system and the world does not revolve around you.  (Feb 28, 2014 | post #52402)

Gay marriage

I think it's been decided. Gay marriage is lawful, protected, and not going to go away. Again if you are against gay marriage don't marry someone the same gender as you and you won't be affected. Isn't it time conservatives and christians start focusing on the growing asian minority population and their predisposition towards communism, you know something stupid with no logic for some other scape goat they can blame their woes on while they wait for Jesus to come back.  (Feb 28, 2014 | post #31368)

Yeah their "lynching " all the southern republican's with them as we speak. Everybody knows the welfare states are all republican states. I don't like democrats either but at least democrats don't just make up lies and fight tooth and nail defending something anyone with common sense would know is false. And now it's the republicans who are actual Klansmen, toting their gun rights up in arms over immigrants and blaming Obama and the gays when their mobile home gets hit by a tornado but eager to cash that disaster relief check so they can slap some more confederate bumper stickers on their ford. Get current, G.et O.ut P.lease!  (Feb 28, 2014 | post #33)

Most Americans put too much stock in a figure head when they should be proactively involved in local politics and not herded in and propagandized by federal policies. He did ok. He got some things done, didn't overreach too much and considering what he had to start with and the obstacles along the way and all the birther bs I think he hasn't been the best, but he's no Nixon, yeah he sold out early, that was sad, but that's the bubble a president gets put in, Washington never changed like he campaigned but a president is limited in power. The moment anyone takes office as president they automatically become disconnected from the populous, for the first black president he made a positive impact on the country and got us out of a hole. His presidency would be comparable to Reagan's.  (Feb 28, 2014 | post #20)

You realize there are Gay Christians right? Swear at people like calling them fxggots, sodomites, cxcksuckers, queers, fudgepackers, at funerals non the less? You had a few discussions that didn't go so well with a gay, that doesn't show you how gays treat the entire rest of the world. Most bigoted no I'd say it's the focus of bigots but not bigoted. Wanting equality and rights doesn't make a person a bigot. Denying and discriminating based on sexual orientation is bigoted. I don't recall any suicide bombers that were gay, any gays that lynch people because their skin is darker, don't remember any gays going beating a kid to near death and stringing him up on a fence to suffer and die. We all prefer our own realities. Yours is convoluted, non sensical and lacks factual substance to substantiate your claims. My world is shattered, it's made up of billions of different shaped and sized pieces, enjoy your reality, your the only one who will.  (Feb 28, 2014 | post #52397)

Can't we just put the Geriatric Obsolete Party in a home already. They're getting more and more senile every day, remember back in 1860 when they were with the times and liberal?  (Feb 28, 2014 | post #30)

The federal government views our marriage as equal, Better to live in a tolerant world that embraces others differences, friends celebrate the diversity of those they are close with, You couldn't live in our little gay world because if you did you would learn to accept people for who they are and that would shatter the reality of your friends and the people around you. I would rather be defined for all eternity as being gay than spend one moment defined as a homophobe saddened by the happiness in others lives.  (Feb 25, 2014 | post #52020)

Purely political question in the political forum, separate the church responses from your answers and please tell me why conservatives care so much about opposing Gays? Don't bring in traditional family dynamics into the answer either that is for the Life forum. Politically speaking only what I do with another consenting adult in the privacy of my home in the privacy of my bedroom what political concern is it of any member of government to create legislation, or even have an opinion on?  (Feb 25, 2014 | post #1)

How did you choose not to be gay? What prompted your decision to sexually orientate towards the opposite sex? You value traditions of your faith 2000 years old, like slavery, polygamy, child marriage, oppression of women, stoning people for different religious beliefs? Surely you must avoid pork and shellfish or you're vial ways will have you burning in hell for eternity.  (Feb 25, 2014 | post #141)

Feel free to borrow away man. I know the tenants weren't the result but there are good messages inherent in all religions. In my view religion is the collective following of an individuals faith and spirituality. It is a detriment to the soul to try to see God through the eyes of another though. Faith is a beautiful relationship one has with God. Religion is taking ones faith and forcing it on others, diverting their spiritual path and polluting their own relationship with the divine.  (Feb 24, 2014 | post #85)

Right there is your effing answer. Because the only thing Gays need from people like that is the decency to be treated equally without being the scapegoat of the worlds problems or thought of as some Godless bureaucrat worshippers. Religion has done more harm to society than homosexuality ever could. Maybe progression towards the more humanist tenants in religion instead of degradation back into moot dogmas would prevent the badmouthing of religion.  (Feb 24, 2014 | post #79)
