Why are you whining!! You don't even live here. If you are so sad about ASARCO being forced to clean the air they were polluting than why don't you come and sniff all the **** they left behind!!!!!!!!! And it is the problem of the EPA and the State for granting the licenses for them to operate that polluter!!!!!  (Dec 6, 2010 | post #4)

Aggie head coach DeWayne Walker expresses concern over st...

Money has a lot to do with it. The way NMSU gets athletically funded and UNM does are very different. UNM doesn't have to put their stadium repairs on Education Bonds because they don't own the stadiums(PITS/University Stadium) the state owns all that. Where did the $60 million come to renovate the PITS? Compared to the $23 million spent on the Pan Am. Doesn't look like it has been fair. That's what happens when Northern politicians runs things!  (Nov 28, 2010 | post #18)

EPISD board to consider cutting programs, teaching jobs

Pinche Way, here is the definition of prorated! Prorate-- To divide or distribute a sum of money proportionately. For example, if one owned an automobile for only three months, an insurance company would prorate the annual premium by charging only one-quarter of it Got it pinche pendejo!!! These teachers got paid for 9 months work but it is extended to 12 months in their payments. They DO NOT GET PAID FOR THE SUMMER VACATION. Only it they work summer school. And I am not hillbilly, estupido!!!!!!  (Jun 18, 2010 | post #320)

EPISD board to consider cutting programs, teaching jobs

It is not prorated. Their salary is extended throughout the year for work already done. They don't get paid for the summer. It is funny when any idiota calls somebody a pendejo!!! GO TO SCHOOL TO LEARN SOMETHING, PEOPLE. THIS IS EVIDENT OF THE NEED FOR MORE RESORCES FOR EDUCATION HERE IN EL PASO. BUT THAT WON'T HAPPEN WHEN PARENTS DON'T GET INVOLVED IN THEIR KIDS EDUCATION.  (Jun 17, 2010 | post #306)

EPISD board to consider cutting programs, teaching jobs

The reality of all of this is that the teachers and students will be affected by this outcome. Students will lose academically and athletically. Sports take up a lot of resources. That should clear up about 8-10$ million. Then the salaries of teachers and their jobs come next. My wife is a teacher at a school in EPISD, and from seeing all that she does and sacrifices for her over crowded classes it will probably push her out there. She personally spends toooo much money out of her pocket for her classes while her insurance premiums have been going up and now no salary increase. Time to change occupation!  (Jun 16, 2010 | post #183)

Aggies cut $3 million in two years for athletics

Time for us, alumni, to step up and bail out our athletic department. I challenge everyone to go get a season ticket for any of the sports. We have two good basketball programs, a great volleyball program, as well as, baseball. And of course, a great program in the making, in football. Let's stop this talk about eliminating the athletic department, the publicity arm of the school, and help it sell tickets!!! Just do it!! Class 0f 2001  (Jun 4, 2010 | post #25)

Denish airs critical TV ad against Martinez (8:21 a.m.)

Why is this critical TV ad when IT IS THE TRUTH!!! She doesn't convict people. She hands out deals to these criminals. She doesn't "fight the cartels." Get your hands out of the sand people. Denish is probably no saint either. Career politician, as we see with these two, have many skeletons in the closet!  (Jun 4, 2010 | post #10)
