wynders hot dogs

I just stopped into Wynder's and the owner said they are not closing. There is a sign on the front door that says they will be *temporarily* closing earlier than normal because of an issue not related to the restaurant.  (Feb 6, 2012 | post #4)

Berkot's: Is it 'Famous for Expired Food'?

@not a fair article, Just to clarify what you're claiming, Patch is a news source. But it's a lot more than that--it's a place to discuss our community. Thus, highlighting those discussions is important. This story in question is not a "news" piece, it's a collection of reader business reviews, as stated in the article. Thanks for reading. -Michael Sewall, editor  (Oct 17, 2011 | post #6)

Hmm, that article linked oddly. The sub-headline about school district consolidation is from an older story, not part of this one, which is about school districts and political donations.  (May 24, 2011 | post #2)

Name change for New Lenox?

Hello, I'm the editor of New Lenox Patch and wanted to reply to Hubbs. Thanks for your appreciation of the new online newspaper we're offering. In regard to what Mayor Baldermann said, he did not say the village would be renamed a city. A reader asked the question "Why is New Lenox becoming a city?" and meant it in the way to ask "Why is New Lenox growing and expanding?" Mayor Baldermann explained his reasons for the growth. In a segment of the video I edited out for length, he specifically said New Lenox will NOT become a city. The reason it was taken out was because it didn't answer the true intent of the question, which was meant to focus on growth. I just wanted to clarify that. But thanks for reading New Lenox Patch, and feel free to take your debate over to our site at  (Dec 27, 2010 | post #9)
