The only thing people read about Marble City anymore is Larry Couch, crooked superintendent. I want people to know that MARBLE CITY has more good things than bad. We are gearing up for our annual Spring Fling on May 3rd. This is a town-wide event that brings in people from all over the state. Arts & Crafts, Yard Sales, Food, Music, and fun for the whole family. Things kick off at 6am and go all day. The street dance from 7 to 10 wraps up the evening. If you want to know what Marble City is all about, come to the Spring Fling and talk to the community members that live here. Marble City school DOES NOT need to be consolidated. Don't let the indiscretions of one man destroy an entire community. Marble City can recover from this tragedy, and WILL. (Apr 17, 2008 | post #1)
