Thank you to everyone for your information. Its been a big help. I will be down soon to check out the communities and decide from there where I decide to live. I just hope that wherever I decide to go I am welcomed. You have all been very nice and I greatly appreciate it.  (Feb 17, 2013 | post #20)

I dont have a lot of choice as to where I move.It is going to have to be there or Caruthersville or in that close vicinity. I figured since there was a higher population there it would be the best one of them all. What other town would be the better choice? The Ely Walker apts. sound nice but if there is an income limit then I don't think I would be able to get one of those.  (Feb 17, 2013 | post #9)

Thank you for the information. I want a good safe neighborhood and preferably an apartment. What is the average rent in that area for a nice 2 bedroom?  (Feb 16, 2013 | post #3)

I will be moving to Kennett in a few months but I live several hours away right now.I have no idea what there is in your town and I have been looking online for apartments or a house for rent with no luck.It will be just me and I have a cat so wherever I find MUST accept an animal. Also if anyone knows how much electric deposits etc are it would also be helpful.Any information I can get would be great.I know nothing about this place so I have to get down there soon to check everything out.Thank you all for any information that will be helpful to me.  (Feb 16, 2013 | post #1)

Its a state job so any surrounding town halfway close would work. I prefer to live in a town where there are some restaurants to choose from and people that are at least somewhat friendly. I know that's hard to come by anymore but I'm optimistic.  (Feb 8, 2013 | post #9)

Thank you for the information.I don't live anywhere close to there so I cant just jump in my car and check it out. I don't have to worry about the school system because my child is out of school so that's a blessing but I would like to be where there is a little bit to do.Again thank you all for the information.I was also looking at Hayti? Is it about the same?  (Feb 8, 2013 | post #6)
