I remember how Flint use to be, So much fun so much LOVE, Friendly, Down to Earth City. We're very unique, and hard workers. But I just don't know the younger generation has tooken things to a different level. I didn't move away because of the crime, but it is very dangerous. And I will always stand up for Flint when someone is trying to DEGRADE Flint an the people there, BUT it is a very dangerous place... I use to walk to the corner party store 12:00- 1:00 @ night not worrying about NOONE. That's how flint was for me growing up... There's Violence Everywhere and Flint we've always been Nonsense People, We don't take Mess from Noone! But to always have the mind frame of waking up& going to sleep thinking about how I'm go FU-- somebody up today wasn't the Mentality that I believed we lived comin up... FLINT was always generous, giving, and loving... And People there still are. But it hard , SPIRITUALLY it don't feel the same... And when GOD turn things around ill be glad... If its the Lords will Then ill stand on HIS faith things will hopefully change... Hebrews 11:1 says Now Faith is the Substance of things Hoped for the EVIDENCE of things not SEEN!!! I'll always LOVE FLINT. Flint taught me Love, Loyalty, and Compassion for others and I'll always try to think about those things, BECAUSE WHAT'S BEEN GOIN ON THESE LAST 8-10 yrs. have been Horrible.... Whomever works hard for what they have doesn't want ANYBODY to take or to disrupt our environment...You all don't want it In Royal Oak, well a lot of us Don't want it where we live either. We're not giving NOONE The ok to put our neighborhoods in disarray either. I wish they would raise taxes so that we could get Cameras, their is no more Pontiac Police, were under Oakland County Sheriffs.Their doing a fine Job, but anything that can Lower crime in the neighborhoods I'm all for it  (Nov 23, 2012 | post #59)

Ok, I guess that's how I took it when she said Well Dressed Black Man, I'm not trying to make Racist comments at all, I'm really not... I know how ignorant it sounds, that was only the point I was trying to make that's all... To show the ignorance in the people I was replying too... I just want the best for everyone, even though no one is better than anyone else, people do make better decisions. Probably because I know some people can change if they work hard, at getting back up. Those r the people I'm really taken up for. See I grew up around whites&blacks and I don't want no one talking bad about any of my friends... We didn't live in the surburbs, so when I see my white friends struggle with things like Suicide & what not & OVERCOME it and never go back, YES they deserve a chance... Do u realize that I don't want to see people sagging their pants, & people with a lot of piercing EVERYWHERE. They have been prejudged. Growing up my friends did these things, but WE were also respectful to others and our parents. Some people just don't care, and we can't blame the parents all the time, some parents do all they know And the children grow up doing the total opposite. But sometimes when see a problem sometimes we just need to get to the Root...Cause we all have our own Personal Flaws,& their all not the same ones. That's Why we're suppose to be their for one another. I know we cant help everyone especially a stranger when your minding your own business. People R out of control to here u hate to even say anything to someone being rude. Theres never an excuse for being Rude for nothing at all...Im glad we were able to listen to each other& agree on something thats the reason im on Topix. So that i understand how we all view things, BUT most imporyant learning from each other :-)Thank U for for your Kind Words, And I Wish U & Yours The Best Also...  (Nov 23, 2012 | post #58)
