Your name shows how much you love and appreciate islam, anyway if you are asking sincerely then first try to read quraan with tafseer(detailed explanation of chapters and verses of quraan with historical background) and hadith such as (sahih bukhari, and sahih muslim) to get a clear picture of islam. Ch. 3 V. 119 119. Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,− though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We believe": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Dear Asma bint Marwan, let me clarify your misconceptions, regarding where in the quraan it is mentioned to say "Peace" or Salaam to unbelievers. It is mentioned in quraan and as well in hadiths and if you further analyse in letters of prophet which he sent to disbelievers many of those letters contained salaam, please refer below verses from quran. Ch. 43 V.86-89 86. And those whom they invoke besides Allah have no power of intercession;& #8722; only he who bears witness to the Truth, and they know (him). 87. If thou ask them, who created them, they will certainly say, Allah: How then are they deluded away (from the Truth)? 88. (Allah has knowledge) of the (Prophet's) cry, "O my Lord! Truly these are people who willnot believe!" 89. But turn away from them, and say "Peace!" But soon shall they knowIn quraan allah addresses many prophets as brother of disbelievers, so if prophets are brothers of disbelievers then why I can’t call them brother. They all are our brother unless they fight against us on account of religion, disgrace prophet or use foul language against him or any other religious person and scriptures of islam. Lets see what quran says: Ch. 60 V.8-9 8. Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. 9. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong. Now lets have a look where allah addressed his prophets as brother of disbelievers: Ch. 7 V.65 65. To the 'Ad people, (We sent) Hud, one of their (own) brethren: He said: O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him will ye not fear (Allah)?" Ch. 7 V.73 73. To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she−came l of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment. Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) is foretold in bible V Un-lettered Prophet Muhummed's experience in the cave of Hira, later to be known as Jabal-un Noor - The Mountain of Light, and his response to that first Revelation is the exact fulfillment of another Biblical Prophecy. In the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 29, verse 12, we read: "AND THE BOOK" (al-Kitaab, al-Qur’ân the 'Reading', the 'Recitation') "IS DELIVERED TO HIM THAT IS NOT LEARNED," (Isaiah 29:12) "THE UNLETTERED PROPHET " (Holy Qur’ân 7:158) and the biblical verse continues : "SAYING, READ THIS, I PRAY THEE:" (the words "I pray thee", are not in the Hebrew manuscripts; compare with the Roman Catholics' "Douay Version and also with the "Revised Standard Versions") "AND HE SAITH, I AM NOT LEARNED." ("I am not learned." is the exact translation of the Arabic words MA ANA BEQARA which Muhummed uttered twice to the Holy Ghost - the Archangel Gabriel, when he was commanded : IQRAA "READ!") . Let me quote the verse in full without a break as found in the "King James Version," or the "Authorised version" as it is more popularly known "AND THE BOOK IS DELIVERED TO HIM THAT IS NOT LEARNED, SAYING, READ THIS I PRAY THEE: AND HE SAITH, I AM NOT LEARNED." (Isaiah 29:12). Important note: It may be noted that there were no Arabic Bibles in existence in the 6th Century of the Christian Era when Muhummed lived and preached! Besides, he was absolutely unlettered and unlearned. No human had ever taught him a word. His teacher was his Creator: Sureh Najam, Ch.53 V.3-5: 3. Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. 4. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him: 5. He was taught by one Mighty in Power, Without any human learning, 'he put to shame the wisdom of the learned' In the verse 19 of Deuteronomy chapter 18, we have a further fulfillment of the prophecy in Muhummed! Note the words-'.....MY WORDS WHICH HE SHALL SPEAK IN MY NAME," In whose name is Muhummed speaking?" Every chapter of the Holy Qur’ân except the 9th begin with the formula: “IN THE NAME OF GOD, MOST GRACIOUS, MOST MERCIFUL." The Muslim begins his every lawful act with the Holy formula. But the Christian begins: "In the name of the Father, son and Holy Ghost.” Concerning Deuteronomy chapter eighteen, I have given you more than 15 reasons as to how this prophecy refers to Muhummed and NOT to Jesus.
