Het also i get passed in the corners some if you go to high in the turn. how do you keep it like low and in the middle of turns. Also we can't run mirrors. (May 16, 2008 | post #140)
Yeah good advice i will run it by him, i don't have to worry about top end speed because we don't qualify we draw for posistion which kinda sucks. Do you have any advice for the jets in the carberotor. I run a 2 barrel. this year we can also run scat or gm replacement cranks 50 pounds. I was running a swap cam but i might change it to a comp cam. any advice? thanks for the other advice. (May 16, 2008 | post #138)
Oh yeah i won the ucar championship when i was 13,i started racing when i was 11, and now i am 15 almost 16. I have a very experienced guy who helps out his name is Earl Brooks Jr he has been racing at that track in street stock since 1969 and he may be old as dirt but he knows his stuff, lol. he has won like 204 races and posted 8 championships. Also i do run a locked rear in thanks for the advice do you have any adviced for the gears in the rear end i am running a 633 do you think i oughta go to a 650 or a 620 or stay with the 633? (May 15, 2008 | post #130)
thanks for your advice i have won the 2005 track championship in You Cars then moved up to Street Stock i started racing in 2003. The you cars are 4 cylinders i did'nt have but $800 invested in it pretty fun cars for rookies but now street stock the class i am in is fast and fun and affordable. Somebody had a radar gun at the track and i was going about 88-90 on the straight away in the street stock car. (May 15, 2008 | post #129)
Yeah that is the most important thing to the car is the set up and handling, but we got to run hossier tires D35 compound 15x10 inch wheels or 12 inch wheels. Yeah but you can buy them with different treads and you can buy this tire grover tool to make your own groves. We can also run a D55 compound made by hoosier. If i get some more mony i probably will move up to Super Late model. We also have a weight limit 3275 is the minumim weight. (May 15, 2008 | post #123)
