Riding the waves: Navajo listeners, broadcasters use radi...

I wrote to a rosetta stone employee and they said that the Navajo language is a tough one to crack but they will come out with the program to learn the tongue in the near future. That might help some people who were unfortunate to not have been taught by parents or grandparents.  (Feb 11, 2011 | post #33)

I drink too but to sum it up it's about a 12 pack of beer a year on average. Too many people have alcoholic problems and when they get in trouble they blame everything on anything but the alcohol. I am all for this ankle bracelet, it will help out those that really need help to cut down and even quit the drink. The interlock doesn't work when someone else is always breathing their bad breath into it that isn't the driver.  (Feb 11, 2011 | post #1)

Teacher arrested for allegedly beating his kids

They should just do what texans do, give the parents a ticket and have them pay fines. That would be a real eye opener for the parents of children who know no values, especially when it comes to treating other people with respect.  (Feb 11, 2011 | post #28)

American Atheists wage war on Christmas

I think the main reason why those prisoners are believers is because they think that will help them get out earlier. You'll see them in the prison church singing and praying dancing and whatever else they do in church, but as soon as they are released out of jail, that is the time to become a sinner again.  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #4199)

Marijuana - Albuquerque, NM

it would put a lot of the non tax paying drug dealers out of business and maybe help the economy a little - plus there would be less people going to jail over some stupid shit  (Aug 31, 2010 | post #99)

NM woman seeks divorce from same-sex partner

Yet, there are so many gays and lesbians within our people. Maybe because of all the inbreeding they decided to just go with the same sex, who knows. Most of the young don't even know their own history or culture. Most don't even know their own language. Maybe you can be a teacher to them and help by teaching them a bit of Navajo history and folklore. I do my best trying to teach my young relatives work ethics so they won't end up being stuck on the, "rezz," and become a statistic.  (Aug 10, 2010 | post #136)

Shiprock murder suspect to appear in federal court

It's very sad that this had to happen. I too have lost two sisters and a brother and that was in the past 2 years.  (Aug 2, 2010 | post #88)

We need justice

True - he was drunk, he should get charged with DWI, along with vehicular homicide. He must be friends with someone political, otherwise he would have gotten the book thrown at him.... maybe. The laws here in NM are always questionable.  (Sep 30, 2009 | post #2)
