Coyotes Attack Dogs In Denver Area Parks, Yards

i saw a BRILLIANT woodpecker trap on the net awhile back. If they ever peck an actual hole, affix a mousetrap right underneath the hole and set it. They will surely get caught. Bastards. Every last one of them.  (Dec 4, 2008 | post #14)

I have a scoped 1000 fps pellet gun, and I have to say that it makes noise. Sounds like a weak .22 cal. I wouldn't dare use it in a subdivision. Kills woodpeckers pretty good though ;-)  (Dec 4, 2008 | post #12)

Story Chat is GONE

I am thankful for generous portions of T&A available on the internet. I do not know how men survived before the internet came to be. In that case, I thank Al Gore for inventing the internet.  (Nov 26, 2008 | post #10436)

Should the government bailout the auto-industry?

This is one of the stupidest arguments I've heard so far on this topic. "Big Oil" only posts about a 10% profit during those record profit quarters. Thats just how business works. So punish them for running a successful business while rewarding those who do not? "Big Oil" is not in the business of renewable energy, so why should they be having their hand in it? They are in the business of exploring, producing, and marketing oil/gas. They are not a non-profit organization, and they are not a state-run organization. By the way, the price of energy has fallen because of the lack of demand due to the economic downturn. Commodity prices follow the economic tide, not lead it. So that means "Big Oil" is probably going to post dismal to no profits this quarter.  (Nov 25, 2008 | post #5)
