Mom issues warning after pet kills son.

Being a "dog lover" and having a Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix as a pet is akin to being a cat lady and having a panther. Not so sure why thats so hard to understand.  (Tuesday Jul 1 | post #21)

Mike, no offense, but Dan's arguments hold alot more water than yours, and sound less "crazy." So, I'll have to agree with Judge Roy on this one.  (Monday Jun 30 | post #46)

3 year old Boy wants to return to school as a girl

Dan, I'm pretty sure Nekomimi is a furry, so his/her/its comments on this subject have a tad bit of bias, seeing how he/she/it thinks he/she/it is a stuffed animal and likes to have sex with other stuffed animals.  (Wednesday Jun 25 | post #69)

Showdown Set on NEW Colorado Oil, Gas Regulations

Roy, oil/gas companies in the Rocky Mountains are a vital part of the local economy. They don't deserve the negativity you imply. As a petroleum engineer, I have the honorable role of providing the public with clean burning natural gas to run this town. Do you like hot showers? Do you like being able to get on the internet? You're fucking welcome. Should I do this job for free, because you are put out a little bit? There isn't some secret oil company pact where we get together on Tuesday nights at Del Frisco's and talk about how many boats we're going to buy and how we're going to screw the workin' man. We go to work, we make natural gas come out of the ground and all the logistics involved with that, and then we go home. Our marketing departments sell our natural gas for the best price they can negotiate with the buyers, and then its out of our hands. As a business, we want to grow. Without growth, your stock is worthless, and investments dry up. How do you grow when every (almost) well you drill has immediate declining production? You drill more than you produce. When you impose limitations on how fast you can drill, you kill growth. That means that the larger corporations sustaining the local economies will sell the unprofitable gas fields to smaller companies who can run leaner (less employess, less jobs). So anyone who is anti-oil/gas, to me, is un-American. Go buy your energy from foreign sources and see how nice they treat you. Or better yet, wait for the aliens to land to show us how to make energy out of farts. Thank you.  (Tuesday Jun 24 | post #4)

Showdown Set on NEW Colorado Oil, Gas Regulations

I think this kind of thing is funny. If the enviros win, the supply of natural gas will suffer and the producers won't be able to grow but they'll get more more income from their current wells. If the enviros lose, the producers will drill more and raise supply, which will lower the price. So, long and short of it, if the enviros win, people have to pay more for natural gas. But if the enviros lose, people pay less. Oil companies will make the same amount (mostly) regardless.  (Sunday Jun 22 | post #1)
