For anybody detoxing from anything, it helps, unless against Doctors orders. I dont often make statements with conviction, concerning anything ingested, but Im makin an exception, wheit comes to fish oil. Been on it for years and it hasnt hurt, has helped many things. Got that youthful vigor goin on coupled with the coq10, and save some money on plastic surgery! Cheaper!I cant explain how, But I feel better ON it, and know when Im not taking it my body drags more, and much less energy. Even tones the skin, with some exercise and gives it a more supple feel.I could go on and on, but I wont torture you. LOL. Mystic  (3 hrs ago | post #153)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, well almost. Particularly to my new friend Miss Kitty. Youre as pretty as a picture. Ive long hair too. Tried a couple times to get them to dye it blonde, and I couldnt get any takers, Friggin liability laws.Love the waves in yours too. I can only get that by braiding and spritzing. works good tho! So talk to ya later, and youre in my thoughts, all of you. My familys up north and my little family will be properly stuffed. On the menu. Various cookies, cheesecake, punkin pie. spinach mozzarella, stuffing,macaroni alad, fruit salad, mashed taters w/ gravy, tom turkey and thats ALL! Lisa, there is a thread on the main page of methadone forum that had 18 thousand posts about Methadone withdrawing. It deals with it all, and even tho its Thnaksgiving, somebody should be along with a kind word, or helpful suggestion. Im feelin ya here, and Im glad youre under a Doctors care, if I got it right.I relate to much youve said, but I havent been on Methadone. This forum stopped me, just before it was imminent. Sounds like youre afraid. Want to know what to expect. Well being afraid isnt gonna help, but this forum might. Expecting anything might get you to mentally set yourelf up for something that isnt going to happen. Youre not going to die, and the w/ds can and are different with everyone. Why dont you go your taper with these kind folks help, and then worry about the other stuff later. cross that bridge when you get to it. there will be pain either way, so take some advil and lots of hot bath soaks, Theres a product called natural calm (local health food store, or net) that helps with anxiety and muscle tensing. Lots of water, and good nutrition, even if its zap and eat from walmart.Walk as much and as briskly as you can.Melatonin helps with sleep, 3 mg pill at walgreens, bogo.Protein shakes, and boiled eggs, avocado, nuts, sardines, and or fish, all have protein for energy. thats important, and take a good multi vitamin. The things that are the most bothersome, besides pain, can be addressed by yer Doctor, like insomnia and anxiety. If not, yet again the thread I mentioned with 18,000 some posts has people that can help, maybe not on a dime, but theyll be along. Im on the song thread, should you need me, and Ill keep an eye peeled. Anecdotally is about all you can do, treat the issues symptom by symptom till youre done. On the thread I mentioned there is a wealth of info, just in reading back alone. Many have successfully done what you are doing, and are just fine now. Good Luck! Mystic  (Wednesday | post #2)

The pain is not as bad, or late. Very recently! Trying not to exhale, cause Im afraid it will come back with a vengeance. Sleep(quality of) and exercise, with a positive(as possiblee, and there was only one way UP for me)mindset, with good nutrition, was/is/has been the recipe. Workin for me folks, and Im told the stuff I have is pretty severe, from thosw that would know, Soooo, I can only speak for ME, and defer to thate song about bein true to myself, by Ziggy marley.
