How quickly liberals forget that he fired a staffer for taking a medical leave, and instead of just giving the guy his job back he let the suit go all the way to the US Supreme Court.  (Jan 7, 2011 | post #40)

Much like Dayton...who effectively has never had to work, and has never held a private sector job in his entire life.  (Jan 7, 2011 | post #29)

It is the typical liberal mindset...take from OTHERS. Another liberal once told me, in the course of a political discussion, "I'll be a Republican when I win the lottery." And I thought it really summed it up quite well. It's perfectly alright to raise tax on(take from) others, but not you.  (Jan 7, 2011 | post #24)

I have to say I disagree. I actually would prefer he start drinking again...might be inclined to sign some government and spending cutting bills that the lucid, liberal Dayton would typically veto.  (Jan 7, 2011 | post #23)

Report: Bachmann considering a run for president in 2012

Haha...Arizona became a state in 1912, McCain was born in '36 on an Air Base near tha Panama Canal. I would say what prevents us from "moving forward" is complete ignorance of facts.  (Jan 5, 2011 | post #192)

Stillwater / Heart disease cited in retailer's death

Liberals will always try to bring it to a human level and repeatedly point out that it's for the children. Many may have their hearts in the right place and truly believe that. Many others, especially and specifically those seeking elected office will use that, instead of having the intellectual honesty to say that it is really about securing the liberal (i.e. Democrat) vote. So what do we do? If it is really for humanities sake, why in gods name do we even have immigration laws in the first place??!! The plain and simple fact is this...adding the existing undocumented workers to the nations citizenry is unsustainable. No one can offer any argument to defend the federal governments window dressing via the TSA at the nations airports in the name of national security while refusing to enforce it's own mmigration laws and securing it's borders...and as politically incorrect as it is, the southern border specifically.  (Dec 3, 2010 | post #29)

Apple Valley couple asking world: birth or abortion?

As someone that used to identify as "pro-choice ", the choice part ended when a life was created. I do not speak of this from some religious doctrine as I am agnostic. I am also very much a libertarian. The simple fact is if one does not desire parenthood, there are many ways to prevent it without resorting to abortion. The libertarian in me says do whatever you want as long as it does not interfere with the rights of others...including fetuses. Another reason I no longer consider myself "pro-choice " is that would also imply the choice to have children...and like I wrote before...some people just shouldn't procreate.  (Nov 19, 2010 | post #278)

Apple Valley couple asking world: birth or abortion?

I believe this couple should use taxpayer money to fund the abortion should their unaffected voting fans decide they should terminate the pregnancy. Should carrying the pregnancy to term be the decision they obviously cannot make for themselves, they could solicit funds via the internet to care for their new proginy. Then when the child grows up with the very little love and care from those that seemingly couldn't care less about them, and simply allowed them to live, they too can become a media **** .  (Nov 19, 2010 | post #125)
