Cait said:they come across a LOOSE "no parking sign" and decide to take it down, and carry it for whatever reasons they did (and it wasn't to throw it through the car, because at the time they didn't even know who the owner of the car was) and they leaned the sign against the back of the car, at which point the sign proved to be too heavy for it, and it went through the window....lol ok this one will work in court lol. your honor, we carried the sign for a few blocks but it was so heavy we thought if we put it on a back windshield of a car it would be ok there. i never thought it would go thru the glass your honor. lol. for this sign to go thru a back windshield it would take 2 of em to carry it. just how stupid does this sound? took the words right out of my mouth. weed is illegal as well as a concealed wepon,the knife. as far as this just being a silly little prank well i think not. private property was ruined. it may not be the crime of the week but it is a crime. to those of you that think this is no big deal well you need to grow up. you wouldn't want anyone ruining your stuff so don't condone this act. if they are paying for it guess what? it doesn't make it any better the act was done. it's the thinking behind it that is troublesome. we all make mistakes. a mistake is something you did not mean to do. this was intentional. Kalb said he believed but was not certain that many of the cars belonged to people who were partying at the club that night. well i guess a 50 dollar ticket is better than a dwi. something should be done so ppl can park somewhere and not have a quality of life issue problem created. and no parking between 1 am and 6 am is kind of strange. who's quality of life is this affecting at those hours anyway?
