Jacksonville not deserving of NFL team
So, you are looking for a quarterback with the following: Love for the Game Can read defenses Can find third and fourth option in less than 4 seconds Can move around in the pocket (not scramble) Does not hold the ball Has a quick release Has a strong arm Can take snaps form underneath the center Has good foot work Has a good Pocket presence In that case it is a good year to pick a “good quarterback in the draft and get a good backup in the third round who some people believe will sell tickets. Job Openings Fall As Employers Hold Back
See sir you do not even understand or know the enemy, your sever case “funnel” vision has blinded you once again. True, Government is the visible enemy much like the foot solider however, it is those who HATE individual freedom, are envious of others, Lazy, Blame everyone else for there failures in life who are the power brokers. So dolander, you kill those of whom you speak and blow up buildings, however you will have only taken out a front line fox hole or two and a couple of foot soldiers. Granted know how you think due to your funnel vision you would be seating back celebrating victory as you are overran. Oh who is the enemy, very simple, those who want a BIG FAT INTURSIVE ALL POWERFUL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! (13 hrs ago | post #10)
"Spend our way out of this recession"
"Spend our way out of this recession" "spend our way out of this recession" "spend our way out of this recession" "spend our way out of this recession" WASHINGTON (Associated Press December 8,2009) - President Barack Obama outlined new multibillion-dolla r stimulus and jobs proposals Tuesday, saying the nation must continue to "spend our way out of this recession" until more Americans are back at work. Without giving a price tag, Obama proposed a package of new spending for highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects, deeper tax breaks for small businesses and tax incentives to encourage people to make their homes more energy efficient. "We avoided the depression many feared," Obama said in a speech at the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank. But, he added, "Our work is far from done." A major part of his package is new incentives for small businesses, which account for two-thirds of the nation's work force. He proposed a new tax cut for small businesses that hire in 2010 and an elimination for one year of the capital gains tax on profits from small-business investments. Holy Chit, Obama is getting desperate now the internal polling must be really bad if Obama is proposing tax cuts. (Wednesday | post #1)

To hell with surrender and retreat, I would rather be a part of the rebellion to take back our Republic from the Government. A good exit strategy only works when you have a safe place to exit too, that place does not currently exist. (Wednesday | post #6)
Job Openings Fall As Employers Hold Back
6.3 Unemployed People For Every Opening, Data Says CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER, AP Economics Writer POSTED: Tuesday, December 8, 2009 UPDATED: 2:13 pm EST December 8, 2009 WASHINGTON -- Layoffs may be slowing, but employers are hesitant to take the next step that is key to reducing the unemployment rate: hiring more workers. That is likely to keep the competition fierce for those openings that do exist. There were about 6.3 unemployed people, on average, for each job opening in October, according to Labor Department data released Tuesday. That's up from about 6.1 in September and compares with 1.7 jobless workers per opening in December 2007, when the recession began. The increase reflects a jump in the number of unemployed people in October, to 15.7 million from 15 million. The department's Job Openings and Labor Turnover survey found that employers posted 2.5 million jobs on the last day of October, down slightly from 2.6 million in September. While that may sound like a lot, it's far below the peak of 4.8 million job openings in June 2007. And there are many more unemployed workers searching for work. Job openings fell sharply earlier this year, but have since remained in the 2.5 million range since April. The JOLTS report shows that even in a recession, millions of Americans are hired and fired. Employers hired almost 4 million people in October, the report said, while 4.2 million were laid off, fired or quit. There was a net loss of 111,000 jobs in October, according to the Labor Department's monthly employment report, which found that the unemployment rate rose to 10.2 percent from 9.8 percent. The rate dropped to 10 percent in November, the department said last week, as job losses unexpectedly slowed to 11,000. Last month's decline has given many economists hope that the economy may begin to generate new jobs by as early as January or February. Businesses have been squeezing more work out of their reduced staffs, leading many economists to conclude that companies will have to add workers soon to maintain output. Still, the unemployment rate may climb for several more months as many Americans who have dropped out of the work force renew their job searches and add to the ranks of the unemployed. Copenhagen climate talks are in disarray.
Good News, it would appear that the developing countries did not want to get “sexed” by the UN with this climate B.S. (Tuesday Dec 8 | post #2)
Copenhagen climate talks are in disarray.
The UN Copenhagen climate talks are in disarray today after developing countries reacted furiously to leaked documents that show world leaders will next week be asked to sign an agreement that hands more power to rich countries and sidelines the UN's role in all future climate change negotiations. The document is also being interpreted by developing countries as setting unequal limits on per capita carbon emissions for developed and developing countries in 2050; meaning that people in rich countries would be permitted to emit nearly twice as much under the proposals. http://www.guardia n.co.uk/environmen t/2009/dec/08/cope nhagen-climate-sum mit-disarray-danis h-text (Tuesday Dec 8 | post #1)

Is your Christmas all about The ______?
Too be honest I am going into this Christmas season with less excitement than usual. Since my mother in law has had here cancer return and at this point, the long-term outlook is not very good, I just know that for my wife and two daughters it is going to be a very emotional Christmas. I doubt that we will volunteer and help others at the same level, which has always been something that I look forward too. So this year will be almost entirely about Family and making this a happy and joyful time. (Tuesday Dec 8 | post #11)

Duval Students Express Concerns
Quote: “Though some may have seemed minor, like school lunches being overpriced and unhealthy” Commentary: At last, check there is no rule in place that requires a student to buy and eat a school lunch. If you do not like it make you own lunch and bring it to school, that is what my daughter does. Why must everyone rely on the government. Quote: “If anything hit home, it was the message from seniors who said they don't feel adequately prepared for the future, claiming they received too much FCAT prep and not enough college prep.” Commentary: Could not agree more, the best way to prep for the FCAT is simple, learn the freaking information to begin with, but in most Government Indoctrination the most important issue is student count because a butt in the seat equals money in the school boards pocket. A valuable lessons can be learned here, do not depend on the government to have your best interest in mind, do it for yourself. Quote: "They won't tell us about Bright Futures and stuff until January. Why?" she said. "It's like we're rumbling, scrambling around trying to figure out what to do for college. Huggins said the school has offered little help in regard to college applications and scholarships. Duval Students Express Concerns
http://www.news4ja x.com/education/21 889126/detail.html Ed White Students Express Concerns School Board, Students Meet During Lunch To Address How School Can Improve POSTED: Monday, December 7, 2009 UPDATED: 5:11 pm EST December 7, 2009 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It was a meeting of the minds over lunch as members of the Duval County School Board met with students from Ed White High School on Monday. During the meeting, the students talked about what was going right at the school as well as what they thought could be improved. Some of their success stories included credit to the Principal, Jackie Simmons Jr., for making the campus safer. Students said there have been less fights at the school this year. Those were just some of the things the kids felt good about, but there were also some concerns. Though some may have seemed minor, like school lunches being overpriced and unhealthy and the bathrooms not being clean enough, it quickly became apparent that there are deeper issues at the school. If anything hit home, it was the message from seniors who said they don't feel adequately prepared for the future, claiming they received too much FCAT prep and not enough college prep. "I think we need more balance here at school, with balancing the FCAT and learning other sources," student Cody Dicaterino said. Dicaterino said he's worried that he'll be behind his peers next year when he enters college. Student Toneisha Huggins said she's worried about getting there all together. "They won't tell us about Bright Futures and stuff until January. Why?" she said. "It's like we're rumbling, scrambling around trying to figure out what to do for college. Huggins said the school has offered little help in regard to college applications and scholarships. School board chairwoman Brenda Priestly Jackson said the concerns struck a chord with her. "I think the genuine concern they have (is) with wanting a quality education," Jackson said. "Everything to the side, questions like, 'Am I going to be prepared for the next level?'" As board members head back to their offices to tackle complex questions, like how to turn the D-graded school completely around, the student perspective they received Monday will be valuable. The students are very clear about what they want and need out of their education. A school board spokeswoman said the board has not set up a location for the next district lunching tour, but she said it plans to have at least two more before the school year ends. Is your Christmas all about The ______?
IMHO, Christmas is no different from the rest of the year when it comes to how we view the experience. Those who are giving of themselves during the year probably give and volunteer even more during the Holidays. Those who gripe and complain during the year just gripe and complain even more. I think you get the point let me know what you think? (Tuesday Dec 8 | post #1)
