For the man who shot the 15 year old boy

Using AOL software isn't using a proxy server, you dumbass. AOL can still track your IP address. All your doing is adding a server to the path. Rookie!  (Apr 19, 2008 | post #152)

For the man who shot the 15 year old boy

Evil Carrot is an old time troll that just enjoys making people mad. He/she/it has been around for years, since the Yahoo chatroom days. I know he/she/it is aggravating, but if you ignore it's silly malarkey, it eventually goes away. :)  (Apr 19, 2008 | post #148)

Should religion have a place in Public School?

The Carrot has some valid points. When school ball teams pray before the game, who are they praying too? You can bet that it's not Allah, Bast, Freya or the Flying Spaghetti Monster!  (Apr 18, 2008 | post #107)

Prove there's a god.

Well then, produce it. Go get it. At least point it out on the aerial photo. Here it is again in case you missed it; http://maps.live.c om/default.aspx?v= 2&FORM=LMLTCP &cp=39.701376~ 44.34185&style =h&lvl=11& tilt=-90&dir=0 &alt=-1000 &phx=0&phy =0&phscl=1 &where1=Mount% 20Ararat.%2C%20tur key&encType=1 ..and then, please finish your explanation as to how wood became petrified in a dry, cold environment. I'm intrigued as to how that would happen.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #1662)

Prove there's a god.

Here is a zoomable aerial photograph of Mt. Ararat in Turkey. Please point out the ark. I don't see any boats up there anywhere. http://maps.live.c om/default.aspx?v= 2&FORM=LMLTCP &cp=39.701376~ 44.34185&style =h&lvl=11& tilt=-90&dir=0 &alt=-1000 &phx=0&phy =0&phscl=1 &where1=Mount% 20Ararat.%2C%20tur key&encType=1  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #1637)

But I did read it. And the factsheets as well that state that the natural conditions required to petrify wood do not, and have not, existed at that location. Ergo, what they have found there, if anything, didn't occur there.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #1636)

I can't help but to wonder why these people think that, if it happened, that the ark could even survive. A wooden boat, the size of the Staten Island Ferry? It would have to be submerged in a swamp or peat bog to become petrified, or frozen into an ice field. Ice is dynamic, it moves and folds. And example is "Glacier Girl", the P38 Lightning recovered from inside an ice pack. The other 6 planes with it had been ground into wads of aluminum. And besides, you couldn't go to 84 Lumber back then and get more wood. It would probably have been just as easy to strip the boat and carry the wood down the mountain as it would have been to cut, debark and hew more. So, if it did happen, why do these people even feel that it still exists?  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #1633)

15 year old shot

There are vigils, wakes and remembrances in every culture in this nation. And, tributes are placed at the sites of death of nearly every culture in this nation. Roadside markers, shrines, flowers and teddy bears at schools, hundreds of thousands of people visiting ground zero. It's not so much a cultural thing. It's a people thing.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #2)

GOD BLESS+THE POPE/PRES.GwBUSH WAR HERO!

Aww, ICE..you suck as a troll. You're supposed to be maddening and infuriating, but in the most subtle of ways, gentling chiding and berating until someone explodes, then chide and berate them for exploding so that it just continues to snowball. All being obvious and silly is going to get you are a few "is not - is too" arguments, and those are just lame.  (Apr 14, 2008 | post #4)

It seems to be just a wee bit curious that, if they had found the ark on that expedition, that the very same group would be on yet another ark hunting expedition thousands of miles away...? http://news.nation algeographic.com/n ews/2006/07/060705 -noahs-ark.html Also strange is how after making such a big deal out of this Iran venture, they never released the results of the analysis the the "rock that appears to be wood".  (Apr 14, 2008 | post #1619)

How Did Satan Convince You Turn Away From God ?

I honestly don't know if anyone keeps those statistics. I worked for 8 years in a county jail with a class D inmate work program (state inmates), and we didn't keep any records of religious preference. All we kept were who attended services and who didn't, which really doesn't tell you very much. I just know that all the cells (except isolation) had TV's, and we used to get mail from TV ministries by the ton.  (Apr 10, 2008 | post #1051)

Ever? Would have to be a 1970's disaster called Star Crash. It was a wannabe Starwars ripoff with something like a $2000 budget.  (Apr 10, 2008 | post #1)
