Roy lynn mcamey

I was there that night and there is not a doubt in my mind he did it, saw him sitting out there in the parking lot and shoot my friend Lynn. Now this piece of shit is trying to say it was not him, an accident? No way he admitted on the spot to the police, and later on several times, know they want to change the story, rewrite history. Everyone there that night knows what happened, and I can only say it was a total waste of a great person and friend. To Lynn's sister who posted on here this is Sam and all agree with everything you said here. All I can say is I often think of Lynn and that he is missed, and that God called one of his angles home that night to maybe spare someone else that night. I know that is not much comfort, but all I have.  (Dec 12, 2010 | post #28)

I had Power Built woods, and wilson staff tour blades, before that had the same woods, but Titliest irons.  (Sep 28, 2010 | post #52)

The BEST golfer in Greeneville

Ok I played back in the 70's and early 80's before moving away. I would agree with all the people listed, Joe Mead is as good as they got. Lets go back older, how about the Kilday's, Bud was pretty darn good. The Chapmans, all of them could play. The Wittenbergs, they were not bad either! Oh and do not forget Lynna Rader, she could beat most of the men back in the day! I enjoyed playing with and against all of the people we listed from the old days, could hold my own, won some lost some. Good memories, thanks for the thread whoever started it, refreshing for a change on here.  (Sep 28, 2010 | post #50)

I was wondering the same thing if it was Lee! And no do not take that bet unless you are one of us old golfers that could shot under par back in the day and can still putt today like we did then!  (Sep 28, 2010 | post #49)

I played with both Eddie "Red" Bailey and Mike Wilhoit back in the day, they were both very good. I never really have seen a bad left handed golfer, remember John Chapman?  (Sep 28, 2010 | post #46)

Agreed! As someone who plays old style golf this today. All the new golfers do it hit is long and chip and putt. They have no shot selection, low hook, low slice, hit it short and run it up to the pin. LOL! We had to hit shots back in the day!  (Sep 28, 2010 | post #45)

Yes I remember that tournament, played in it several times. It was a good test of local golfers talent.  (Sep 28, 2010 | post #44)

Magnavox / Philips Stories

Yep it was still Magnavox when I started there, and it was for years after, my father worked there for 40 years and he always called it Magnavox!  (Sep 1, 2010 | post #75)

Magnavox / Philips Stories

I worked all over that building, tube loading, final test, stock, and also down at the circuit board building before they built the new one for the circuit board. I agree about not being able to pass safety inspections. Oh lots of sex going on in that place, the parking lot was like the set of a cheap porno movie, and lets not forget the stores stacks, could walk around a corner looking for a part and interupt someone having sex or getting a blowjob.  (Aug 18, 2010 | post #49)

Magnavox / Philips Stories

Oh yes the union was a joke, and yes I worked there while in college, got me through and understand how lucky I have it now. But I will say I had lots of fun working there!  (Aug 15, 2010 | post #21)

Magnavox / Philips Stories

I worked there for several years back in the early 80's off and on, and yes all those stories are true. Magnavox was a wild place to work, drinking, drugs, sex, had it all. I remember the big drug bust after they had a narc working in there, everybody was scared to death. I worked the evening shift, which was wilder that the day shift! Oh one more thing it is true the people would line up at quiting time and run out yelling like they had just escaped from jail!  (Aug 15, 2010 | post #16)

Fastest Car in Greeneville

Used to be a guy who had a car named "King Midas" if I remember that car was fast! Not like these rice burners these people have today! Of course I am old talking back in the late 70's early 80's.  (Aug 11, 2010 | post #71)
