Cartus is doing fine, interns have started, and it's busier than ever. To anyone who says otherwise, wasn't the world supposed to end last weekend? Was everyone on that bandwagon also? (May 28, 2011 | post #987)
then why are you on this thread, dumbass? (Dec 11, 2010 | post #969)
Ok, so I haven't heard of any layoffs this week... "THE HORSE JA" offered a pretty good cop-out with a theory/rumor he started that they'll let a lot of people go, spread out over departments and over the rest of the month. Uh huh. By the way, the world is supposed to end on May 21, 2011. But let's not hold our breath for that one, either. (Also, who "Judged" my Office Space quote as clueless and nuts?! I was riffing off of the previous poster's line!) (Dec 10, 2010 | post #966)
We always like to avoid confrontation, whenever possible. Problem is solved from your end." (Dec 7, 2010 | post #964)
Ok, so was last week the "first week in December" or is that this week, since it's a full week? And on Friday afternoon if there are no layoffs, can I come on here an laugh at the bad information you received? This reminds me of people always screaming that the end of the world is coming... then when their date for the apocalypse comes and goes, they're suddenly very quiet. With that said, I'll see you back on here Saturday morning. ;) (Dec 6, 2010 | post #961)
They didn't bring in more security for the other layoffs, why would they start now? Sounds like misinformation to me... (Nov 30, 2010 | post #959)
Interesting, since merit increases are coming back, the 401K matching is (slowly) coming back, and Cartus bought Primacy. I think Bob and Bob are being moving down to "Storage Area B" and being handed a can of cockroach spray... (Jun 21, 2010 | post #946)
You cannot count pipe-knocking at ARR that you hear and interpret it as Morris code for "Operations will move to Memphis" as a, "very very reliable source." And we *don't* know who you are. You COULD sit next to us, or you could work at Denny's. We just don't know! Don't try to start a false panic. I've never heard of a company buying another, smaller competitor, then laying off everyone in it's world headquarters so they can use the other company's smaller building across country. (Feb 6, 2010 | post #907)
Do you have a source for either claim? Not to be argumentative, just curious. (Jan 25, 2010 | post #895)
Dude, I've even got a Topix profile... no way I can take a loss for the team! Since the Newstimes shut down the links to this forum, you may not get back on here to comment again. Which means... you FAIL! (But that would also mean that you wouldn't get on here to see my last comment, which might constitute a double fail!) (Sep 24, 2009 | post #21)
Last post delusions = FAIL (Sep 21, 2009 | post #17)
You're a fail because you thought you got the last work but really didn't. BAHAHAHAHAHA!! (Sep 18, 2009 | post #15)
I just lost approximately 12 brain cells after reading that post. P.S. You fail (Sep 16, 2009 | post #13)
